It Cosmetics CC Cream has been raved about for the past so many years. I have seen so many YouTube videos and blog posts where everyone is just praising this cream and that how much they all love it. This made me very inquisitive and intrigued to try it myself. I recently purchased it from Sephora.

The packaging of the It Cosmetics CC Cream is a little different than the other foundations like L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte or the L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundations that I have tried. It is a squeeze tube with a pump attached to it. This contains 1.08oz/32ml of product inside. This is the first time I have seen a squeeze tube with a pump. I like the packaging and the idea of the pump but am wondering does a tube need a pump? Yes! it protects all the anti-aging ingredients that are present in this cream from getting exposed to the environment and sunlight. It Cosmetics CC Cream is available at Sephora for $38. Currently there are seven shades available and I got the shade Tan.
The consistency of the It Cosmetics CC Cream is quite thick. However, when we blend it is creamy and soft. The first thought in my mind was, it will feel heavy on the skin. Reason being it is thick in consistency and it claims to provide full coverage. But this does not feel heavy at all. It has a subtle citrus scent which is pleasant but also dissipates quickly.
The It Cosmetics “Your Skin But Better” CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ is a full coverage color correcting cream with some amazing anti-aging skin care ingredients like snail secretion, niacin peptides, hydrolyzed collagen, licorice root, jojoba oil, vitamins, hyaluronic acid, SPF 50+ and antioxidants that take care of the skin as well as provide full coverage. Isn’t it amazing we get skin care advantage in makeup?
The application of this CC Cream is smooth and feels very silky soft. This blends well with the fingers. It is not streaky of blotchy. This makes my skin feel smooth and diminishes the look of large pores that I have. It covers the redness and some acne spots on my chin well in just one coat. However it can be build to get that full coverage. It gives a very natural skin like supple appearance with some glow. This is very good for the coverage it provides in comparison to other BB and CC creams type of product. It gives that hydrated look to the skin without being too glow-y or shimmery. I like to set it with my Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder as my skin is very oily. My skin starts to look shiny after a good 5-6 hours of wear.
Over all, It Cosmetics CC Cream with SPF 50+ has an incredible formula that provides perfect base makeup with additional skin care benefits. This gives the natural skin like appearance which I love. The most fascinating thing about the It Cosmetics CC Cream is the great staying power whole day. It’s like apply and forget. We hardly need any touch ups. However, I have oily skin, so I need to blot the shine away. But this stays fresh all day. In spite of the SPF 50+ present in this cc cream it looks great in flash photos as well. So far I have tried only one Bourjois 123 Perfect CC cream that I love and this one has slowly become one of my favorites too.
Dry skin people will love this cc cream. Firstly, because it provides moisture and allows the skin to retain it all day. Secondly it gives dew-y finish along with more radiant and brighter appearance without oxidizing or fading. People who have skin issues and need full coverage will love it too. I love this CC cream and highly recommend. The one disadvantage with the It Cosmetics CC Cream is the shade selection. I think they should expand the shades. Since L’Oreal has acquired It Cosmetics last year, I expect them to expand the shade range. This cc cream is available on Amazon as well. 🙂

I haven’t tried this but I want to, it’s on my wishlist to try but we don’t have a Sephora here so it’s difficult to find it. I read great reviews about it and I know I will love it.

I have this! I haven’t used it in a while, but I love how it makes my skin look as if I put an Instagram filter on it. It has amazing coverage without making me look cakey!

It’s awesome that the rave reviews seem to be true! I loved your review and your pictures were great and informative as always. I still have yet to try this CC cream but I am certainly curious. It is expensive though and lately I’ve been using $7 drugstore foundations so it is hard to make that jump when I am happy with what I have lol.

I haven’t tried this yet or any other it cosmetic products, I have seen this raved about by so many people though, so I do want to try them out. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever tried CC creams, only BB creams but I never had the best of luck with them so this product would be great for me to try out cc creams as well. Lovely post! 🙂
