Hi girls! If you don’t own Milani Rose Powder Blush, you are seriously missing on it. 🙂 Today, I have the beautiful Milani Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose to talk about. Milani is one of my favorite brands at the drugstore. Besides it is a cruelty free brand. Most of their products are always great quality. You can read my thoughts on the Milani eye shadow palettes here, here and here. Their lipsticks are very affordable and great quality. If you follow me on Instagram, you must have seen my lipsticks post. I feel sad that I did not review them. But, if you want I will do it. Even their baked blushes are just beautiful and well loved by everyone.
Product Description – A blush that deserves to be seen, Rose powder blush is gorgeous in the compact and even prettier on cheeks. The soft, natural-finish powder shapes, contours and highlights with flattering matte and shimmery shades made to complement every skin tone. This is one petal-perfect beauty that you’ll reach for again and again.
Milani Rose Powder blush is available in four shades. 01 Romantic Rose, 11 Blossomtime Rose, 08 Tea Rose, and 05 Coral Cove. These blushes were released a couple years back (maybe more). But are still available and well loved by many. I know I am so late with this post, but the beauty of the rose embossing compelled me to do this post. hehe 🙂
The packaging of Milani Rose powder blush is the classic Milani style. A sturdy plastic compact, with a golden base and clear lid. Exactly like the Milani illuminating face powder It is also travel friendly. The clear lid is helpful when we have more than one shade. I have one shade to share Romantic Rose. Of course, there is no mirror. :-). But I could give anything for the beautiful rose embossing on the blush. The Embossing is deep enough, that after using it for long time, it will still be pretty looking. 🙂
The formula is smooth and has a creamy texture, and blends beautifully. The pigmentation and the color payoff is very good. But not as intense as the Elf Blush palette or the J.cat blush that I own, but we can definitely build to the desired intensity. It applies as if we are dusting some powder. The wear time of the Milani Rose powder blush is good. On my oily skin, it lasts about 4-5 hours. But, maybe it will last a longer, on dry skin girls.
Romantic Rose – A beautiful natural looking blush. It is a pink-y nude with a hint of mauve. But in the swatch it looks more of a neutral toned blush. It gives a natural flush to the cheeks. And it goes well with most of the looks. Perfect for adding just a hint of rosiness to the cheeks. This rosy hue has a natural pink undertone that will be flattering any skin tone.
Overall, I love this blush. It is absolutely beautiful in the compact but looks prettier on the cheeks. Even though, it applies sheer, I love how non-streaky it goes on the cheeks. Besides, it looks pretty on the vanity. Great blush for everyday wear. Blush for me is all about enhancing your features. Because of that, I love the shades that are natural looking and emphasize your natural tones. 🙂
Apparently, this blush is regarded as a dupe for Tarte Amazonian clay blushes. I highly recommend, trying this blush. The rose pattern is such a mood lifter for me, just like my Physicians Formula happy booster blush. Have you tried the Milani Rose powder blush? Which is your favorite blush right now? The packaging of these blushes is gorgeous, prettiest design. I own two Milani blushes but unfortunately the one went bad last year and I threw it away, don’t know why but it got such a bad scent I couldn’t bear to wear it 🙁

Sadly we can’t get Milani over here (at least I don’t think we can) which is such a shame because these are soooo pretty! Having said that, I’m not sure I could bring myself to use one of these blushes and ruin that gorgeous raised relief pattern, haha.
