March Beauty Favorites Makeup & Skincare

Hi! Today I have the March Beauty Favorites, that includes makeup and a couple skincare. 🙂 It’s been a while that I posted about my monthly beauty favorites. Last one was in September 2018. I try to post but I am always late. But I made it, this month! Yay! hehe. 🙂 Anyway, lets start with some skincare, because skincare is the base to makeup.

March beauty favorites Skincare and makeup.

I love taking care of my skin, but sometimes I am a little lazy. But I never neglect using a face mask. I love trying new masks all the time and also keep rotating among the ones that I have. However, clay masks and hydrating masks are a must in my face masking routine. I enjoy applying face mask because that is the time when I lie down and relax a little. So, here are my March beauty favorites.

Dead Sea Mud Mask Pure Body Naturals Dead Sea Mud Mask has been my go to mask in the clay/mud mask category. This mud mask helps to control the oils on my face and also help to keep a check on acne breakouts, without drying the skin. I have spoken about this mask in detail, if you wish to check it out.

Laneige Firming Sleeping PackThis is another K-beauty face mask that helps to keep my skin hydrated and plump. I use it twice and sometimes three times a week and love the way my skin looks bright and feels smooth in the morning. 🙂

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation –  The L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte foundation is one of the best at the drugstore if you have oily skin. The creamy mousse like texture blends well, and makes my skin look flawless. It provides medium to full coverage but I use a tiny bit because I like to go for light coverage. This foundation also helps to absorb the oils through out the day and stays in place. This is at par with Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation which is another favorite of mine.

Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder The classic Coty Aisspun Loose face powder has been around since 1935 for real good reasons. It is one of the best powder for setting makeup, baking makeup and making your makeup last longer. It is ultra smooth and hides fine lines, wrinkle and blemishes giving your skin smooth softness. If you have oily skin, I highly recommend trying this powder. Besides it is incredibly affordable. However, some may not like that it has a distinct fragrance to it. But I love it, because it reminds me of my childhood days. 🙂

Milani Baked Blush Berry AmoreThe Milani Baked blushes are just lovely. The pigmentation is great, when used lightly it gives a nice glow to the cheeks due to the fine shimmers in this blush. I love them. All the shades that are available are perfect for all skin tones. Besides Milani is a cruelty free brand which I like. 🙂

K L Polish Das Esspensive XXVI absolutely love this color. I like using shimmer and glitter polishes but this one is out of this world. Since December this was on my nails all the time. This has become my “special occasion” nail polish because I don’t have a backup. It makes me very sad that the cruelty free nail polish brand that Kathleenlights started is coming to an end. The quality and color are great and so unique.

Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions eye shadow palette I am not much of an eye shadow person but I like to use a little on the eyes. Not full on smoky eyes but more of a natural looking eyes. And the Mauve Obsessions palette as well as the Brown Obsessions palette are just perfect for that. I have been carrying, this pretty little palette with me when I traveled last time. The shimmers and the shades are just perfect.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color The Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color in the shade Aubergine is great for that one shadow eye look. I use the others too as single shadows. But this shade in particular works well for the eyes as well as the water line. That hint of purple is very pretty. 🙂

Lancome Drama Liqui-Pencil – I received a box with a few sample size eye makeup products, when I used my 500 Sephora points. And this eye pencil was one of them. This is amazing. Very creamy and glides on smoothly. Besides, the black is intense and stays in place all day.

L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara I have spoken how much I love the L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara in one of my posts. This is my second tube and almost done. This makes my lashes look longer and fuller, while makes my small eyes look bigger. 🙂

L'oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

Too Faced Creme lipstick in the shade Pink Chocolate – If you follow me on Instagram you must have seen my post on this lipstick. I have been using this non stop. This lipstick is always in my purse. The brownish pinky nude shade is just “the perfect shade” for me. I love the creamy formula and it lasts pretty well on the lips. Besides, the creamy formula keeps my lips hydrated all the time. We don’t need mirror to re-apply this lipstick.

Beautiful nude shade with a hint of pink, brown and mauve.

L’Oreal Color Riche shine Lipstick in the shade 904 Varnished Rosewood – This is again a pretty everyday nude. The moisturizing formula of the L’Oreal Shine lipsticks is great. These are very creamy and I have been reaching for this shade almost every day. I think you should check these lipsticks out. Besides the crystal like packaging is so pretty.

Fenty Beauty Gloss bomb – Lip gloss? Yes! I am mostly a lipstick person but this changed me all over. I love the glossy formula which is not sticky. The shade adds a hint of color and shine, that looks pretty. I need more Fenty Beauty in my life. 🙂

Maybelline Elixer in shade 045 Amethyst Potion – This is again a hydrating lip gloss. Not sticky at all and keeps my lips from drying. I have finished this tube and will have to get another one. Because I have started using lip glosses when I am at home. 😀 The formula is very hydrating and no more dry lips for me. 🙂

That’s my March Beauty favorites. What are your March Beauty Favorites, this past month? Please let me know in the comments. 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to read. BTW I have used some old pictures for this post. hehe. 🙂

  • Great selection of products! I haven’t tried the Airspun powder but I’d like to try it out. The Huda mini palettes are really nice and I’d like to pick up a few more.

A HUGE and amazing set of products you’ve been loving in March! Airspun is an absolute beauty at its price – I, too, love it! K beauty is also another thing I’m rather partial to so I’ll have to pick up the Laneige mask. Obsessed with Pink Chocolate too, I can see that shade on me now so, if I overdraw on my bank card, you’re to blame! x

Yay! It’s nice you were able to make this post! I find it difficult to create posts according to planned schedules, so creating a post on time is quite a winning moment for me. These are lovely products, by the way. I am charmed by anything Fenty Beauty! xoxo

Thank you Flea. I am always late at posting the monthly favorites. I hope to continue though. This is the first Fenty Beauty product I have tried and can’t wait to get some more. Have a lovely day my dear. 🙂

It is stunning color as well as formula. Lights lacquer?? Are they changing the name and continuing with the brand. I did not know. Thanks for sharing Gemma, I guess we will have to see hehe 🙂

  • Lisa says:

Wow, that is a massive selection of favourites, haha. I remember you talking about the Coty powder and the Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack among others but I don’t remember seeing that gorgeous nail polish before? That’s lovely, so what a shame the brand is coming to an end, I hope you can find an alternative soon. Lisa x
