Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask Review

Hi! Today I have a quick review of another clay mask. Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask with Kaolin and Bentonite clays. These days any skincare that mentions anti-wrinkle, anti-aging or skin firming I have to get it. 🙂  Besides, some of you already know that I love trying different clay masks. I purchased this mask from a health food store, called Healthy Options, here in Philippines. It has been with me for almost a year and it was lying in my drawer for sometime. Because there were other masks that were open and I had to finish them first.  But, now I have used this mask several times for the past few months and I am ready to share my thoughts. 🙂

Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask

I am a big fan of face masks, especially the clay masks and use them on a regular basis. Because, if I stop using them even for a couple of weeks, I skin starts breaking out and looks textured and less smooth. Thus clay masks or mud masks are always there in my skincare drawer. Kaolin clay, bentonite clay masks really help me, to keep my skin in good condition.

Product Description  on the packaging –  Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask helps refine the look of wrinkles, pores and imperfections.

Naturally rich Kaolin and Bentonite Clays help purge impurities and absorb excess oils.

Skin-renewing Vitamin A, Sloughing Glycolic Acid and natural astringent Willow Bark promote fresh, smooth, youthful skin.

Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask Review

Derma e is an all natural skincare brand in the US. They have a wide range of skincare products that cater to different needs and requirements of our skin. All their products have 100% vegan and cruelty-free formulas which also do not contain harmful ingredients. I love using skincare products that are made with all natural and wholesome ingredients.

The packaging of the Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask is a soft squeeze tube, that is very easy to store and travel with. I prefer masks in these kind of tubes. I also like the red, blue and white colors on the tube. It is attractive and instantly draws attention.

The ingredients in this mask is what I liked. Kaolin clay, bentonite clay, witch hazel, willow bark extract, glycolic acid, salycilic acid, vitamin A etc. that will keep my skin happy. These are some important ingredients that I like to have in a face mask or in general skincare that I am using. I am slowly trying to get into these different acids that help to keep our skin soft, smooth, radiant and also help in minimizing or at least delaying the signs of aging and wrinkles.

Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask Review

The texture and consistency of the Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask is VERY creamy and buttery. It actually feels like a rich moisturizer. However, it is tiny bit less thicker in comparison to the Pixi Glow Mud Mask and the Pure Body Naturals Dead Sea Mud Mask. The Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask glides on the face very smoothly and even a thin layer is enough for it to work it’s magic.

After washing my face with cleanser and drying my face, I apply a nice layer of the Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask . Leave it on for 20-25 minutes and when it dries completely I wash it off with water. During application this mask tingles. I believe, the cooling and tingling sensation is more in this mask, in comparison to one of my favorite Origins Original Skin texturizing Mask with Rose Clay. After  sometime, as the mask starts to dry the tingling sensation dissipates.

When the mask dries completely it looks transparent, like milky white. You can see in the picture below. I like that it does not stretch or pull the skin like the Indian Healing Clay Mask or my Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Mask does. Besides it is easier to wash it off with water. It leaves my skin feel very soft, smooth and radiant looking. I do not necessarily feel the need to apply a moisturizer (since my skin is very oily). But I still do, after using my Pixi Glow tonic .

Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask Review And Swatch

Overall. I love this mask. My skin is feels smoother and pores are refined and less visible. I see less white/black heads and regular use also helps to keep acne and pimples in control. The kaolin and betonite clay present in this mask helps to absorb and control excess oils and sebum from my skin. Because this mask contains exfoliating ingredients in it, my skin feels smoother and more refined. Vitamin A helps to stimulate cellular renewal and gives a more perfect complexion.

This mask is recommended for normal to oily skin but I think it is very gentle. Even the dry sensitive skin people can use this mask. However, dry skin people should not leave this mask on for any longer than recommended and apply a nice moisturizer after washing off the mask. I have to mention that, since this mask exfoliates the skin, using a good sunscreen is a must. The tube is large and there is a lot of product, which will last a very long time.

Derma e Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Mask Review

I searched the Derma e website and did not find this particular product. They have their Anti-wrinkle range with Vitamin A and Glycolic Acid  in a different packaging, but the mask is missing. I hope they have not discontinued this mask. It would really disappoint me. But it is still available in the Healthy Options stores here in Philippines. This is such a fantastic mask for oily acne prone skin, that I need to have backups of it. I also tried to find this mask on Amazon and the Derma e Anti Wrinkle face mask is there but currently unavailable. I hope they restock it soon. This is a great brand to look for if you like using all natural skincare range. Thanks for taking the time to read. And have a great day!

Until next time take care of your skin and stay bright and beautiful! 🙂

I’ve never actually heard of Derma E (oops, I feel like I’ve missed out for way too long!) but loved every minute of reading this post and you had my attention following the two Ws – Witch hazel and Willow bark. Magical ingredients! I think it’s really interesting that you mentioned the Indian Healing clay which I own and use with Apple Cider Vinegar to keep my spots at bay and, although it works, I feel like it’s a little too strong so this one may suit me better! I need those refined pores! xx

Witch Hazel is really nice for my acne prone skin. I am glad you like the Indian Healing clay as well. Yes it is too strong I use it less frequently these days as I have some other clay masks. But I don’t like the smell of Apple Cider Vinegar so I use that with rose water instead. If you get the chance try this brand, you will find some nice skincare. 🙂 Thanks Marina darling.

  • That’s really interesting that it doesn’t stretch or pull your skin. TBH that’s the main reason I don’t like using clay masks, I don’t like that “tight” feeling you always seem to get. Maybe this is one I’ll have to try when my peel off and gel masks run out! xx
