Hey lovelies! Today I have a review on Celeteque Acne Solutions Cleansing Gel. I am always particular with my skincare routine. However for the past two months I am still in that relaxed holiday mood. I have been very lazy regarding my masking routine. First reason is that I have used up all the tubes of my trusty Himalaya Neem Face Mask and I am too lazy to prepare a homemade mask using my another trustworthy Aztec Indian Healing Clay.  I forgot to buy my Sephora Mud Mask which is also very good at preventing pimples and keeping skin clear. Using clay masks regularly always helps me in preventing the acne that I sometimes get.

I have been procrastinating my skincare routine for really long time. My mistake I know. The result of this laziness was my skin started freaking out and I started getting the nasty acne on my chin area, near my brows and temples .The other day I was at a supermarket and I was searching for my face wash when I spotted Celeteque Acne Solutions Cleansing Gel as well as Celeteque Acne Spot Corrector Gel. I bought them both just to try and test if changing my face wash would help with my problem. Besides the packaging was compelling. I have  seen this brand a lot in the drugstores here in Philippines but never tried it.

About the brand

Celeteque is a skincare brand that is backed by science and co-created by dermatologists. They use only derma grade ingredients to promote skin health.  Celeteque DermoScience has six skincare lines developed for different skin conditions. Hydration, Acne Solutions, Sun Care, Brightening, Advanced Anti-Aging and Hair & Scalp Care. They also have a makeup line with skincare in it which is impressive. I bought the Celeteque Acne Solutions Cleansing Gel to use as my new face cleanser.

Product Description on the website –  CELETEQUE Dermoscience Acne Solutions Acne Cleansing Gel has Hydroxy Acid (in the form of Salicylic acid) that can penetrate hair follicles and exfoliate dead skin cells, thus removing blockage and decreased comedones on the skin.

The packaging of Celeteque Acne Solutions Cleansing Gel us a soft, smooth squeeze tube with a flip open cap. The tube feels luxurious and very good quality. The brands name and other details are printed on the tube, which has that dermatologist recommended type of look to it. There is a color coding on each line of product. The look of the tube itself gives that positive feeling that the product is going to work.

The product inside the tube  has a gel like consistency and is fragrance free. However, I feel it has the medicinal type of smell to it. Celeteque Acne Solutions cleansing Gel basically contains Salicylic Acid which exfoliates the skin and reduces blemishes and acne breakouts. It also helps to reduce excess oil which I need so much.

For application I take a little amount of Celeteque Acne Solution Cleansing gel, apply on my damp face and massage. It does not foam but cleans effectively. I mainly focus on the areas where I have more acne and rinse it off with water. After wiping my face with a clean towel my face felt clean and smooth. I saw significant reduction in oil on my face which I loved. After using it for a week, I felt the acne had stopped popping up (every other day there was a new one coming). There was a remarkable reduction in acne and the ones that were there just vanished.

The results are really amazing. Celeteque Acne Solutions Acne Cleansing Gel is now my new cleanser. I will continue to using in order to prevent further breakouts. On the other hand, I used the Celeteque Acne Solutions Spot Corrector Gel only twice.

The packaging of spot corrector gel is really cute and tiny. It comes in a 5 gm tube.

The gel inside looks white when we dispense the product, however it is a clear gel. The best part is it is non drying. We are supposed to use it after cleansing. Applying just on the affected areas twice a day. I used it on the bigger red and painful acne. It helped to calm down the redness and helped to heal it faster.

Overall, I am very much impressed by the results of using Celeteque Acne Solutions Acne Cleansing Gel as well as the Celeteque Acne Solutions Acne Spot Corrector Gel. These two actually worked to clear out my acne recently. These are affordable yet effective. Now I am very much intrigued to try the other line of skincare that is available by Celeteque. There are some dark spot left behind which I am working to clear it out with some other skincare products that I will talk about in my other blog posts later. This brand is available at all the drugstores, supermarkets and Lazada Philippines.

Update : I am still using the acne cleansing gel because it is just wonderful and helps to keep check on my acne and pimples. I am also loving Celeteque Hydration Range. It is so good to keep your skin youthful and hydrated.
