Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration Travel Kit Review

Hi! Today, I have Celeteque Dermoscience hydration travel kit to talk about. After using Celeteque Acne Solutions cleansing gel, I have been intrigued to try other products by the brand because this cleanser is my holy grail cleanser for the past four years. I always have a backup like many backups. Since I love this cleanser so much, for the longest time I stayed away from trying new ones. Even though I love trying and testing new products, I most of the time stick to the skincare that works for me. But, I finally gave in and bought the Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration travel kit to try their hydration range.

I believe the best way to try a product is to get the mini size, try and see if it works for you, because everybody’s skin is different and what works for me may not work for someone else.

Celeteque Dermoscience hydration facial wash – A simple and mild facial wash with Natural Moisturizing Factor. I wondered what natural moisturizing factor is? Hence I did some research. Apparently, the outer layer of our skin has the ability to produce a protective chemical coat called Natural Moisturizing Factor, that provides adequate hydration to the outer layer of epidermis. Natural moisturizing factor is a mix of powerful water soluble humectants that draws atmospheric water like magnet to keep skin well hydrated. It helps to get rid of dry dead skin and maintains the elasticity of the skin. It also protects the skin from dehydration, infection and other chemical damage.

Topical application of skincare with natural moisturizing factor significantly helps to reduce the dryness of the skin. However, the thing is it has be to left of the skin for sometime to work. Since it is in the cleanser that we wash off in a couple of minutes, I guess it is unlikely that it will provide the long lasting moisture to the skin. However, since my skin is super oily, it worked very well for me. It is a mild facial wash and leaves my skin thoroughly clean and hydrated. No dryness at all. The consistency of the facial wash is very runny and is gel like.

Alcohol-free Toner with Witch Hazel Extract – I am always in search of an alcohol free toner. I was very eager to try this one because it is very affordable. I moisten a cotton ball and apply to my face and neck in upward strokes. It does a great job of thoroughly cleansing my face, without drying. It has a floral scent which I love. The witch hazel in this toner helps to prevent acne and helps in healing and calming them. It reminds me of my Thayer’s witch hazel toner, which is also my favorite toner, besides Pixi glow tonic.

Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration Facial Moisturizer – Having very oily skin, I am very picky about my moisturizers and serums. I love light weight moisturizer and serums. This fragrance free and oil free water based gel formula is very light and feels like water on the skin. I love it. The triple moisturizing system contains glycerin, Pro-Vitamin B5, and Aloe Vera, that work deep into the skin. It also has Dimethicone that seals the moisture, while hydrates my skin well through out the day. I apply this moisturizer after toner. It makes my skin feel nourished and plump.

Overall, I am glad that I got the Celeteque Dermoscience hydration travel kit to try their hydration range. It consists of 25ml product in each tube. But it will last you for about two weeks. It is great to carry in your purse. I love all three items in this kit and will get full size ones when I run out of my hoarded skincare. However, I may not get the face wash, as I am not particularly looking to hydrate my skin, because my skin is already very oily and prone to acne. My priority is to prevent acne, so I will keep using the Celeteque Acne solutions facial wash. But the toner and moisturizer are on my shopping list.
