Hi! Hope you all are having a great weekend. Today I have L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara to talk about. Everyone on YouTube and other social media were raving about this mascara so much, that I was eager to try. I got mine from Wallgreens when I was in Chicago. I know I am late in my review because I was already using a couple mascaras. So I did not open this one. 🙂
As far as mascara is concerned I go for the drugstore options and believe L’Oreal does the best mascara at the drugstore. I have always been a fan of L’Oreal mascaras as well as some other products like the L’Oreal Pro Matte gloss and their Infallible Pro Matte foundation for many years now. I do try the high end ones like the Benefit Real which is my favorite but only when I get it free using my Sephora points or if it is included in some holiday mini gift sets. Well! Back to L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara.
Product Description – Take your lashes to paradise with voluptuous volume & intense length. Soft wavy bristle brush holds the maximum amount of formula. 200+ bristles catch every lash for a dramatic volumizing effect. Silky smooth formula glides on evenly and easily. This volumizing and lengthening mascara delivers a full lash fringe that’s feathery soft. No flaking. No smudging. No clumping. Women agreed : 3 out of 4 women saw volume and length, 90% said it doesn’t flak, 95% said it lasts all day.
L’Oreal describes the Lash Paradise Mascara as volumizing, lengthening, non flaky and the water proof version to be very long lasting. This mascara is available in 5 versions – three shades in the normal classic formula that is blackest black, black and black brown. Whereas two shades in the waterproof version that is black and blackest black. I got the waterproof version in blackest black.
The packaging of L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara is very beautiful and pretty. I love the light pink rose gold style packaging. The tube is matte with metallic finish. It has some gold and black detailing.
The mascara wand is the classic medium sized wand with dense bristles. It has a little hourglass shape to it. There are more than 200 bristles that help to intensely thicken the lashes. I find the thick bristles apply the mascara easily on all of the lashes. Even on the shortest ones.
The formula of this mascara is very creamy and a little dry. However, it is not thick. It glides across lashes with ease. It is very easy to layer and does not clump which I like. I believe due to the drier formula it does not clump. After application it dries quickly, hence it is easier to layer and does not smudge. Actually it looks great in just one coat. I find it gives great volume in two layers.
The pigmentation of the blackest black color is beautiful and intense black which I love. This also separates the lashes beautifully. It lasts all day without smudging or flaking.
Overall, I just love the L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara a lot. This mascara is compared a lot to the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, however I have not tried it so I cannot comment on that. I would love to try it some day but I feel when we got good options at the drugstore at a lower price, I could pass on that instead purchase some lipstick haha! that I want to try. Besides mascaras last for 3-4 months maximum.
L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara
These are available on the L’Oreal website as well as Amazon. I recently learned and am also happy that L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara has finally launched in Philippines. It took so long for them to come here. I travel to US in 24 hours haha! 😉 It is now available on Lazada website and I searched and found it will be available in the stores in April I guess because I have not visited any drugstore recently.

I tried the waterproof version of Lash Paradise and it was absolutely horrid. I need to try the normal version, many said it’s amazing.

Before I start, I need to say how utterly beautiful your photos are (as always)! I haven’t tried this mascara but I do use Benefit’s They’re Real which I love because of that funny little star on the end of the brush which picks up even the tiniest of lashes. When it runs out, I might try the L’Oreal one though, you’ve convinced me, haha, x

I haven’t used this one, but would love to try.
