Hi! Today I am back with face mask. The Dead Sea Mud Mask by Pure Body Naturals. While studying Geography in my high school I learned about the Dead Sea which is a salt lake. I used to locate the dead sea in my map and also remember it is called Dead Sea because of the high concentration of salt in it. After I learned that people could easily float in the Dead Sea. I used to imagine even further the we will be able to walk easily on the sea haha! Due to the high salinity aquatic animals and plants rarely flourish. However, due to the high salt and mineral content the dead sea area has become a major center for health research and treatment. While studying all this I never in my dream had imagined of using a face mask that was made from the dead sea mud.

The dead sea mud mask by Pure Body Naturals was technically purchased by my lovely husband while he was browsing the Amazon Website. I believe he got it based on the amazing reviews on Amazon. There are various brands that sell the dead sea mud masks but this one had the highest positive reviews. He never uses any skincare item, I guess he got it for me as it is basically for oily skin and he has dry skin. When I first used this mask I was glad he bought it. This is the first time I have known about Pure Body Naturals brand.

Before I started using this mask I checked the Pure Body Naturals website and read the details about the dead sea mud mask. It was interesting to know so many advantages of using this mask. Intrigued, I continued my research and learned a lot about the benefits of using the dead sea mud mask. There are many brands that sell the mask, even the powder form of the dead sea mud mask is available. Pure Body Naturals is an organic skincare brand that is also cruelty free. They offer a wide range of products with high-quality formulas made with natural ingredients that are best for our skin, hair and body.

Dead sea mud mask is rich in salts and minerals that are beneficial for the wellness of our skin and health. These include calcium, potassium, sodium which works wonders for our skin and physical ailments like arthritis, allergies etc. However, in this post I want to focus on how the dead sea mud mask is beneficial for our skin.

The dead sea mud mask is packaged in a large, sturdy, plastic tub with a twist open cap. The quality of the tub is very good. At first I thought it is a glass container.

The consistency of the dead sea mud mask is quite thick in comparison to the Pixi Glow Mud Mask and the Sephora Mud Mask that I use. Even though it is thick it is very smooth in texture. It is thick enough that when I turned the tub upside down the mask did not move. You can see in the picture. However, if I hold it for too long the whole mask may slowly slide out 🙂 While applying the mask we have to work to make sure it is even all over the face. Otherwise it will be thick in one place and thinner in the other. I hope I am making sense. 🙂

I apply the mask, leave it on for 15-20 minutes for it to dry. But sometimes leave it for longer period of time as it does not feel uncomfortable after it has dried. However, I think the dead sea mud masks take longer time to dry, I am guessing. It does not feel tight or stretch the skin like my Himalaya Neem Mask or even the my Aztec Indian Healing Clay mask. This mask does not dry the skin and I don’t feel the need to moisturize after washing off the mask. This makes my skin smooth and clean. We can use this mask on our body to reduce cellulite. But, I have not tried using it yet. It will be boring to apply the mask and wait for it to dry and then shower.

I am glad that I tried this dead sea mud mask. It has helped me to keep tab on my blemishes as well as helps to fade them away. I find it to be effective at drawing out oils. It cleanses my pores and also helps to control white heads and blackheads. Overall this mask makes my skin feel smooth, soft, clean and fresh. I highly recommend the dead sea mud mask to everyone. Even dry skin people can use this mask. When used regularly it will improve the elasticity of the skin making it plump and youthful. The hydrating ingredients like the Sunflower Seed Oil, Aloevera gel,  Jojoba Oil etc helps keep the skin well hydrated. I am very pleased with the results and will continue using this mask. Now I wish to try the other masks and product available by the brand.
