My Mini Drugstore Makeup Haul

Hey everyone! Welcome to my blog. Here I am again with my mini drugstore makeup haul. I love watching and reading about makeup shopping. We all love makeup shopping and the drugstore is the best place I believe. There are some brands that are great quality and affordable at the same time. I had mentioned in my mini amazon skincare haul that I had purchased some makeup goodies that I will share later. So here is the makeup items I purchased that I want to share with you all.

My Mini Drugstore Makeup Haul

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC creamThe Bourjois 123 perfect cc cream is the one that I use very often. The reason is this CC cream is very light weight and the shade matches perfectly. It is very easy to apply, when in hurry. I don’t have to worry about anything else. This CC cream gives a flawless and natural looking complexion which I love. I set it with my Laura Mercier Loose setting powder and sometimes with my Coty airspun loose face powder. Both are equally good. However the Coty Airspun loose powder is cheaper in price. It makes me sad that, I have not seen Bourjois here yet.  So, I stock up on this cream whenever I visit US. I have already spoken about this cream in detail on my blog.

Seche Vite Top Coat – I prefer my nails to look shiny and glossy. A top coat can also ruin your manicure. I have tried one in the past that created all bubbles after I applied that particular top coat to my nail polish. From that time on I am very particular which top coat I buy. I purchased this one only because it is very well loved in the beauty community and had great reviews. I used it a couple of times and I have to say that I love the result. It makes my manicure look very glossy and shiny.

L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Peach Blush – I purchased this blush along with the L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette. And I am glad I did. This is such a pretty peachy blush for my medium skin tone.

The Original RCMA No Color Powder – This powder was on my wish list since it was launched and raved about so much. It was always out of stock. Finally I got it from Amazon. I started using this powder only recently and so far I am loving it. 🙂

L’Oreal True Match Blush – I always say lipsticks are my favorite makeup item. But I think I like blushes as well. The True Match line by L’Oreal is great. The True Match foundation is my favorite. And this blush was on my list for a really long time. I got the shade W5-6.

Pretty Diva Liquid Peel Off Latex Tape – I love wearing nail polishes. I never go to a nail spa to do my nails. I always do it myself at home. However, I am not perfect in my application. I tend to touch my cuticle area and sometimes it does not look perfect. Browsing Pinterest and looking at the pretty nail pictures girls posting, I was inspired to try this liquid latex. I have to mention that we need to be perfect in applying this latex as well. If the outline is a little here and there, your nails will get the wavy application haha!

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink liquid lipstick – In my Drugstore Lipsticks you need to try post, I forgot to mention about the Maybelline lipsticks. Maybelline lipsticks are one of the best lipsticks at the drugstore. The quality and price is unbeatable. When Maybelline released the Super Stay Matte Ink liquid lipsticks, it had some mixed reviews. So I wanted to try one. I purchased a darker nude shade that I wear a lot.

L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lock Mattifying Primer – I love my Benefit Porefessional primer a lot. It is one of the best for my oily skin. When I saw this drugstore option I had to try. It always feels good to find a cheaper option, especially in the base makeup category. I am still trying this primer out and will let you know my thoughts later. 🙂

Maybelline The City Mini Palette Rooftop Bronzes – I like to buy smaller eyeshadow palettes, because these are easy to store, less complicated to use and easy to travel with. When there are too many shades in the palette I get a little overwhelmed regarding which shade I should use. While using smaller palettes, it becomes very easy and simple for me to do my eye makeup. When Maybelline launched these City Mini palettes, as usual, these were out of stock at the drugstores. But this one was always on my list, however I was also in some doubt  whether to purchase this palette or let it go. After reading some positive reviews, I had to get it. Rooftop bronzes has some really nice shades, that are perfect for everyday.

Essie Nail polish – Nail polishes are a regular thing and my favorite since I was a little girl. This is the first “makeup” related item that I used during vacations. Only during vacations because I was in a convent school hehe. I got the shade  no. 336. This darker mauve pink shade looked pretty and wearable on a regular basis.

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Shine Lipsticks – I love lipsticks and my makeup shopping is never complete without a lipstick. These lipsticks were compelling since they were released. Only thing is I can never get them when these are newly released. I have to wait because most of the new releases go out of stock in America. :-). And it takes more than a year to be available to here. I will be honest I saw them at the drugstore but the price was a little too much so I did not purchase at that time. But it was significantly cheaper on Amazon.
