This tinted serum foundation has quickly gained popularity in the beauty world. When it comes to base products, I always prefer light to medium coverage. That is the reason I most of the time use BB Creams and CC creams. Proper foundations are mostly for special occasions. Living in hot tropical climate the less is more in terms of makeup. The new L’Oreal true match nude hyaluronic tinted serum comes in a sleek glass bottle with a pipette style dropper. It feels weighty and substantial. It is a pretty and convenient packaging. I like the dropper as it is hygienic and clean because it is basically skincare. Besides the product inside is super lightweight and runny. Almost like water. Adding dropper is a nice touch, but a pump would have also worked fine. However, you still want to be careful while placing the dropper back in the bottle. Overall, I love the packaging.

The consistency of the serum is very lightweight, almost watery. The tinted serum is available in 14 different shades. And these shades are quite evenly spread from the lightest to the deepest skin tones. Besides this being a tinted serum the shades blend very well with all complexions. L’Oreal is one brand that always has a wide shade range when it comes to foundations.

I have been using this tinted serum for a week. The coverage is light to medium. You can build it up to the maximum of medium coverage. It gives the most natural luminous finish and makes my skin look super healthy and radiant. It also evens out my complexion to make my skin look better. Because I have oily skin, I like to set it with loose setting powder. I also have a few favorite drugstore setting powders that I use.

Application

For me the most efficient way to apply the new L’Oreal true match nude hyaluronic tinted serum is with fingers. I let a few drops fall on the back of my hand and dab it on my face and blend it, just like I use any normal serum. However, when it is still wet, I use a dense kabuki brush to blend it well. I also want to mention that it has a strong alcohol scent, but it dissipates after blending. It feels like nothing on the skin and gives the most natural even finish, which is amazing.

Overall, I am loving the new L’Oreal true match nude hyaluronic tinted serum. It evens out my skin giving just the right amount of coverage. You will notice a difference like you have the best flawless skin, but without the heaviness of a foundation. Besides the lasting power is amazing. It also does not change through out the day. Doesn’t wear out in places or separates. It just looks fabulous even in hot and humid weather. I love that I can put it on and forget about it. It barely requires any touch ups.
