New Dior Confident (783) Rouge Blush Review

I read a quote somewhere ” Who needs fairy Godmother, when we have blush”. Is it true? I don’t know! But yes! Today, I have the beautiful and New Dior Confident (783) Rouge Blush for this post. Do you love blushes too? I did not know until I took a look at my collection. Psst! Blushes add life, charm, color and beauty to the already beautiful face. I love using blushes, so here I have another one to share with you. The new limited edition Dior Confident (783) rouge blush.

Product description on Dior Website – This fall, Rouge Blush is decorated with an exclusive*, fascinating, optical-illusion motif to highlight cheeks with boldly feminine colour. Rouge Blush is our only blush that gives cheeks intense, ultra-pigmented, long-wearing colour . The intense colour of Rouge Blush brings out the true femme fatale, highlighting cheeks with sultry, irresistible, long-lasting colour for a radiant, healthy glow.

The packaging is similar to the other rouge blushes by Dior. I am talking about the shade 999, that I have featured on this blog. However, the outer cover has this new “limited edition” printing along with the optical motif, but the inner compact is similar to their regular, sleek and elegant compacts. The blush inside is embossed with the fascinating motif of some optical illusion, which I love. You know I have a thing for embossed powders, blushes and highlighters. 🙂 It also comes with a little brush, which is good on the go, however I like to use my real techniques blush brush.

The new Dior Confident (783) Rouge blush is a pretty darker berry shade with some cool undertones. I also see some very fine shimmer, however, it does not transfer on to the skin. But, it does give a beautiful satin-matte finish. It adds a hint of sheen to the cheeks. The color is gorgeous and adds a nice rosy flush. So sorry for the sloppy swatch.

The formula of the new Dior Confident (783) Rouge blush is soft and smooth. When we touch the blush it feels smooth but it is also a little firm and dry. Not like the other Dior blush I own. However, it applies smoothly. The pigmentation is intense. It gives full opacity in one layer. You will have to be careful while using it. I suggest using a lighter hand.

All in all, I am glad I got this blush as I mostly wear these kind of shades. It looks natural and pretty on my medium olive complexion. The ultra-pigmented formula is lovely. Even though there is a little dryness, the blush blends well into our skin and gives that seamless look. As much as I like higher end blushes, I also have some drugstore favorites, that you can check.
