Natasha Denona Mini Blush and Glow Review

Hi! Natasha Denona mini blush and glow cheek duo, is my first makeup item I purchased by the brand. This is such a pricey brand, I never plan to purchase anything in full size. I like that she is coming out with smaller, mini versions that all can try, because everyone loves her products. I picked this cute little palette from Sephora while I was waiting to do my payment. Now adays, I keep looking for mini versions of makeup. Because this is the best way to try something new. And we can always get the full size if we really like the product. Besides for me these minis last a very long time.

The packaging of the Natasha Denona mini blush and glow palette is super pretty. I love the rosy golden packaging with the name printed on the mini palette. The compact is very glossy and shiny, with the magnetic closure. I am all about the golden and shiny packaging and that click. What about you? There is also a nice, good quality mirror inside the compact. However, there is no brush included. The interior of the compact is all shiny silver base holding two pans of highlighter and blush. I’d say, even though the compact is so small, the whole packaging is very glamorous.

The Natasha Denona mini blush and glow palette features, the all over glow face and body shimmer and #14 blush duo. I found it a little complicated to understand because there is another mini compact that holds two highlighters and is called mini diamond and glow cheek duo. And both the compacts are so similar in look hehe. 🙂

All over glow face and body shimmer – This is a soft champagne shade with some warm golden sheen and ultra fine shimmers. The pigmentation of this highlighter is very subtle. However, the texture of this highlighter is very soft and smooth. Almost creamy. It gives the skin that wet dewy look. In spite of the fine shimmers, it does not have that super metallic look, like the Becca Champagne pop or the Becca Prosecco pop. In the swatches you can see how subtle and natural it looks. But it lasts a long time even on my oily skin. 🙂

#14 Blush Duo – The blush in the Natasha Denona mini blush and glow compact is a high shine, warm coral-y pink blush with some fine golden shimmer. Because of the golden shimmer, it gives that slight soft glowing sheen when light hits. Again the texture of this blush is very creamy and soft. However, the pigmentation is very sheer. We can build the color, but it does not show up much on my medium complexion. Even though the blush is subtle, it gives a luminous glow to the cheeks. The blush applies and blends beautifully, but lacks pigmentation. Like the highlighter, the blush is also more of a natural looking blush. It gives that healthy glowing flush to the cheeks. But, it works best as a blush topper for me. 🙂

Overall, I like the Natasha Denona mini blush and glow palette because it gives that subtle radiance to the skin. But, it shows up very little on me. It is best suited for fair to light skin tones. And if you have a very light complexion pick it up. It’s beautiful. For all the dusky beauties, both the highlighter and the blush will work as a nice natural looking highlighters. Even, more as a shimmery eye shadow. (I tried and it gives that wet look to my eyes, which I liked, and easy to use).

But, the subtle and natural look that is gives, is what I mostly prefer due to my oily skin. So. I am happy with my purchase. It reminds me of the Too Faced Blush palette which also gives that natural look. (Just mentioning it, if you want to take a look at that post) 🙂 I know I am all over the place with this review. I like it but I don’t love it, just because of the sheerness of the product. Sometimes, it is difficult to decide what you think about a product. Does that happen to you as well? 🙂

I would recommend the Natasha Denona mini blush and glow to those who like the soft, subtle radiant glow. And to those with fair to lighter skin tones. It looks gorgeous when we want to get that natural flushed look, since the pigmentation is sheer. But is also works best as a blush topper. I have tried with my more pigmented blushes like the Milani, Elf and even the J.cat one and use the #14 blush duo on top, especially for night time. It looks beautiful.

The lasting power of both the highlighter and the blush is very good. It lasts 4-5 hours on my oily skin. I love the size of the compact. It is perfect for on the go and for those who don’t hit pan easily (like me). The Natasha Denona mini blush and glow is perfect for natural day look.
