Hi! You can see my love for coffee and chocolate has extended to skincare as well. Today, I have Mcaffeine Choco Caffeine Glow Face Pack to talk about. This is another face pack that I purchased while I visited India. This is also a new brand for me. It is amazing to see so many different brands popping up on Amazon India. I was just going through and chose this on the basis of the ingredients and who doesn’t want a glowing skin. Besides, I always wanted to try a face mask with cocoa in it. I like to make coffee mask at home by mixing coffee and milk. It leaves my skin bright and firm. But I am also lazy at times and ready made masks are always ready to use. 🙂

Mcaffeine is a new upcoming brand with all natural skincare. This is the first caffeinated personal care brand. I learned about this brand while browsing Amazon India.

The packaging of Mcaffeine Choco Caffeine glow face pack is a heavy glass container with screw on silver lid. The details about the brand and the mask is printed on it. I love the whole wooden vibe of the packaging. It comes with a small wooden spatula which I like. There are small cards included inside, on which the details are printed and there is one thank you card as well. I really appreciate the personal touch to the packaging. 🙂

The Mcaffeine choco caffeine glow face pack is a clay based face mask. It seriously smells like some yummy chocolate dessert. The texture and consistency is creamy with fine granules. These granules help to exfoliate the skin while we wash the mask off. However, these grainy bits are a bit hard like sharp is a better word and can irritate sensitive skin people. It reminds me of the old school facial scrubs with walnut. 🙂 I also love the chocolate-y scent. But, it is a bit strong if you are not a fan of chocolate scents in your skincare. The formulation of this face pack is interesting.

The ingredients

Cocoa – Cocoa powder is enriched with Omega 6 fatty acids, antioxidants, magnesium and Vitamin C that not only repair and rejuvenate the skin but also exfoliates the skin, increase blood flow, heal scars and keep the skin hydrated. It also acts as a natural sunscreen. With all these amazing benefits, cocoa is definitely a gift of nature.

Caffeine – Caffeine is one of the richest sources of anti-oxidants that fights free radicals and prevents premature ageing of the skin. Another major benefit of caffeine is its ability to protect skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun and act as an effective shield against sun damage. It also stimulates blood flow, which in turn helps in collagen production that helps to maintain the health of skin and hair. With its anti-inflammatory properties, Caffeine fights puffiness, gives you an even skin tone and soothes the skin. Caffeine, truly, is an elixir that does you good inside and out.

Argan Oil – One of the main reasons that argan oil is so therapeutic is because it is rich with Vitamin A and Vitamin E. Argan oil is also known as ‘Liquid Gold’. It works wonders for hair and skin. Vitamin E – I love using Vitamin E in my skincare. Vitamin E rejuvenates the skin, improves the skin elasticity and makes it supple and soft. It is an excellent cleansing agent and purifies the skin from deep within while maintaining the skin’s oil balance. It helps to reduce scars, fight wrinkles, helps reduce hyper-pigmentation. Vitamin E also works as an immune booster.

I have been using this mask, off and on for the past couple months. I use it when I feel my skin is looking dull. After applying an even layer of this mask, on my face, leave it on for approximately twenty minutes. Then I wash the mask with running water, it instantly brightens my face and my skin feel soft and clean. It also absorbs the excess oil. The term glow mask is absolutely perfect for this face pack. After using this mask for a few times, my dark spots are less obvious and it helps me prevent acne and pimples. Therefore I can say that regular use will definitely improve your skin’s texture and prevent acne and pimples. But I really wish the chocolate scent was not that strong. Not that I don’t like it but it gets a bit overwhelming.

Overall, I am loving this mask and will keep using it on a regular basis. I cannot comment of my fine lines and wrinkles as it is a very slow process that I may not even notice. However, I have read all good things about the ingredients that are present in this mask and swear by them. Especially coffee, argan oil, clay and vitamin E are my favorites for a really long time. I highly recommend trying this face mask if you are looking for softer, smoother, brighter and acne free skin. 🙂 Have you tried this face mask already? What are your thoughts?
