L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick Review

Hi! I was finally able to accumulate three shades of L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature matte liquid lipstick. L’Oreal always does it right with lipsticks. When I saw these online, I was keen to try the long lasting formula. I was able to snag two shades for free with my L’Oreal order from Lazada, during their monthly price drop sales. But you have to place your order at the earliest (at midnight) because they give out limited number of them.

The Packaging

The packaging of the L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature matte liquid lipstick is pretty. I love the frosted tube. We can see the color. The star is the pointy doe foot applicator wand that helps with precise application. I like that it is pointy, firm and not too fluffy. It makes reaching the corner of the mouth easy without messing it up. With long-lasting lipsticks it is safer to take your time to apply the lipstick. I forgot to take the picture of the applicator. The formula

The formula of L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature matte liquid lipstick is truly lightweight. The consistency is like water, to be more precise it is like colored water. It is exactly as the brand describes, that it delivers high color impact of a liquid lipstick with the no makeup feel of a lip stain. The formula feels like nothing on the lips. It feels cool like water. The formula does not budge or smudge or transfer.

If you ask me how long does the L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature matte liquid lipstick last? I’d say the lasting power of this lipstick is incredible. It lasted well for 5-7 hours. It stays put on the lips and fades gradually and evenly which I love. This reminds me of their matte lip glosses. They fade evenly too. Even after eating the color does not disappear or get patchy. However, to remove the lipstick you will need an oil based makeup remover or micellar water.

Application

The pointy doe foot applicator helps to apply the lipstick very precisely. It also does not hold too much product which also helps in application. Easy to like the cupids bow and perfectly reach the corners of the mouth, without over drawing. This lipstick dries and sets to a velvet matte finish and feels weightless. It is very comfortable on the lips. In fact it feels quite nourishing for at least 2-3 hours. Its breathable and does not feel heavy.

Beautiful Flattering Shades

L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature matte liquid lipsticks are available in a wide range of gorgeous shades from vibrant reds, pinks to nudes. You will definitely find a shade that you will love. These shades also cater to every skin tone. I have three shades from the range to share.

137 Red – A bright and bold red with some warm undertones. It is a beautiful shade. I couldn’t find it online. It was a free gift with my L’Oreal order. It is great for all skin tones. I love wearing it as a light stain by just dabbing a few dots and blending it with my finger tips. It stays on all day.

145 I Convince – Its a beautiful neutral shade with hints of red and brown. It is perfect for daily wear and looks great across all complexion. This shade was also a free gift with purchase.

114 I Represent – I bright summery pink. A gorgeous bright pink with neutral undertones. It is quite bright but you can always tone it down by dabbing with your fingers but still have that brighter looking lips. It will look great on just everyone.

Overall, it is one of the best matte long lasting lipstick, that is not too drying, smudge proof and kiss proof. I love the way it fades evenly and gradually, leaving a light stain behind, which it not uneven in any way. This is one makeup item that you will want to wear for important events, interviews, wedding, parties etc. where you don’t want to worry about your lipstick fading away. Besides it is very affordable and feels luxurious and lightweight with its velvet matte finish, and the beautiful packaging. Since it is so inexpensive you can try different colors.
