Hi! I am always excited about lip products. Today, I have the new Maybelline cushion matte lip tint to talk about. I just saw them as new release on Lazada, like a month ago. I am also sure that they are just available in the Philippines right now. It is a multi-use product. You can use it as a lip tint, eye tint and cheek tint. These are available in 10 beautiful shades. These shades are mostly in the shade range of reds, pinks, mauve and reds with a hint of brown. I guess these shades are specifically targeted to the Asian complexion. Maybelline always has one of the best lip products. I purchased four shades to share.
Product Description
Sensational Cushion Matte is the softest matte and moisturizing lip tint enriched with Vitamin E. Sensational Cushion Matte brings high impact pigment in a cushiony soft texture. With a soft focus gel and a smooth butter glide technology, it leaves your lips looking plump. It’s a multi-use formula that can also be used for cheeks and eyes.
The Packaging
The packaging of the new Maybelline cushion matte lip tint is similar to their lifter glosses. I like the clear thick plastic that looks pretty and heavy. The sharp square tube looks modern. However, these are a bit bulky, with a twist open cap. The applicator is perfect and distributes the right amount of product onto the lips.
The Formula & Texture
The formula of the new Maybelline cushion matte lip tint is light weight and creamy. It glides on smoothly giving opaque coverage in one swipe. It looks glossy for a few minutes and then sets to satin matte finish. These last a long time on the lips without fading. But after eating lunch, it did fade a little in the wet area of my lips. However, the overall color was still there. These remind me of one of my favorite lip stains from Sephora.
The Shades
I got four wearable shades of the new Maybelline cushion matte lip tint. Shades that I can wear on a daily basis and that they also look good on my medium skin tone. While all the shades will look beautiful on medium skin tone, there are some deeper shades that I can only wear in the evenings. However, these tints are great when worn as a tint or create an ombre lip look using two different shades.
CM06 Urban Spice – Urban spice is a medium warm toned brick red.
CM10 The Cool Rebel – Cool rebel is another shade of red with cooler under tone.
CM15 Pink Addiction – Pink addiction is as the name suggest a medium deep pure pink with some red and blue undertones.
CM16 Mauve Couture – Mauve couture is a mauve shade. We can also call it MLBB shade. Great for everyday use.
Overall, I really like everything about the new Maybelline cushion matte lip tint, the formula, shades, lasting power and the price. I highly recommend these lip, cheek and eye tint. However, I also want to mention that the shades are pretty similar. There is hardly much of a difference, if you know what I mean. These are available on Lazada Philippines. Have you tried them?
