Hello friends! Hope you are having a nice day. Today I have another fragrance to talk about. I have been using this fragrance for few years now. Almost 5 years back I used up one bottle, then came another and then this is the third one. I think my husband likes this one a lot :-). I am talking about L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Eau De Toilette.
Brand’s Description – The fragrant atmosphere of a garden filled with peonies on a spring morning. There is a Mediterranean legend of a beautiful nymph named Paeonia who was so courted by the gods that a jealous goddess transformed her into a flower with a thousand petals : a peony. Since then this symbol of beauty and femininity brightens every spring with its dazzling show of colors and scents.
This Eau De Toilette captures the subtle aura of the peony flower, a rich floral fragrance marked with hints of green freshness. The feminine bottle evokes the delicate roundness of a peony as it comes into bloom.
L’Occitane is a well known international brand based in France. The brand is mostly known for body, face, fragrances and home products. I was introduced to this brand by my husband. I have used many products by the brand. Their advanced anti-aging skincare, oils, hair serums, a couple other fragrances. I like this brand for their high quality products and natural ingredients.
The packaging of L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Eau De Toilette is pretty. I like the ombre magenta pink color of the bottle that resembles the colors of the peony flower. It is beautiful and feminine, yet simple. The brand describes the shape of the bottle that it resembles the roundness of the peony when it blooms. L’Occitane does not fancy-package their products. I have seen the packaging is very simple and the product inside is what is more important to them. Even though the packaging is simple, the brand is very pricey. However the bottle is still beautiful.
L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Eau de Toilette is essentially a fresh floral scent. In spite of being a floral fragrance it is not artificial or overly sweet. It is a very delicate fragrance. The opening it gorgeously fresh with the citrus-y note of grapefruit and bergamot, which is balanced by the green earthy notes, almost grassy coming through. The combination of rose and peony come in to play when the citrus calms down. However, among the floral combination I smell rose strongly, even though it is suppose to be peony. The combination of citrus and floral make this fragrance more elegant and feminine. I like the balance of freshness and sweetness. At the end of the day the floral gets s little powdery and clean with a hint of citrus. It really feels like a natural spring fragrance.
As the scent dries down and settles, the base notes sandalwood and white musk come into action, however it is mild. Pivoine Flora does not have a big sillage just an arms length.
Overall, L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Eau De Toilette is a quiet and pretty fragrance to wear. However, for me it’s more like fresh rose fragrance. It lasts about 3-4 hours on me, but when sniffed closely the scent lingers. This is one of the more delicate scents that I own. If you like mild scents or even a fan of florals, I suggest you check this one out. You can purchase this from the L’Occitane website or the L’Occitane Stores. It is also available on Amazon. There are other floral fragrances like Valentino Donna and Cristian Dior J’adore L’absolu that I have reviewed.

I haven’t tried any perfumes from this brand but I’ve seen a few reviews talk about the Loccitane products. How pretty is the bottle of this!!

What beautiful photos! You really do take the most gorgeous flatlays. I think this fragrance would probably be too floral for me, my signature scent is Origins Ginger Essence, with quite strong citrus overtones. But I do have friends who wear lighter perfumes, so I’ll suggest they try this one if they haven’t done so already! xx

I love the brand loccitane, although I don’t purchase many if their products as it is on the pricier side! I do absolutely love their skincare products, have never tried any perfumes! This one sounds amazing though! xx

This has a really nice packaging. Apart from the actual smell I guess the appearance is also a factor. This must be good as you have been using this for a long long time.
