Wearing sunscreen daily is an accepted fact, if you want to have beautiful and younger looking skin. Wearing sunscreen will help protect against skin cancer, discoloration, delay wrinkles, fade scars and more. It does not matter if you indoors or outdoors, sunscreen is a must to protect the skin from the harmful UV rays. However, most sunscreens feel heavy, greasy and sticky, which is a put off especially for people with oily skin or living in tropical humid climate and we tend to avoid it. Beauty of Joseon relief sun sunscreen plus probiotics, is an organic broad spectrum sunscreen that provides an SPF 50 sun protection from UVA and UVB rays. The protection factor is labelled as SPF 50+ and PA++++. Where SPF means the sun protection factor and PA++++ refers to extremely high UVA protection.
Ingredients
Beauty of Joseon relief sun sunscreen with rice and probiotics contains four major next generation filters.
Uvinul A Plus not only reliably filters the sun’s dangerous UVA rays, but it also provides great protection from free radicals that damage the skin. It is free of preservatives and very efficient even in low concentration. It also has the anti aging benefits.
Uvinul T 150 is a very stable and most effective oil soluble UVB filter. With exceptionally high absorbance, only a small amount is needed. It helps protects against the UVB rays.
Tinosorb M is another interesting water soluble organic ingredient in this sunscreen. A naturally stable ingredient that does not degrade when exposed to sunlight. It is a filter that works by absorbing, reflecting and scattering the UV rays. It provides protection against both UVA and UVB rays.
Iscotrizinol which is also marketed as Uvasorb HEB protects against UVB and some of UVA radiation. It is one of the most photostable chemical sunscreen that only loses 10% of its protection ability after 25 hours.. It is also water-resistant.
Besides the UV filters, Beauty of Joseon relief sun sunscreen also has some skin caring ingredients like Niacinamide a multipurpose ingredient that nourishes and protects the skin. Texture & Consistency
Beauty of Joseon relief sun sunscreen has a light weight lotion like texture. It does not feel heavy or greasy. It spreads evenly and has a very moisturizing feel to it. In just a couple of minutes it absorbs and disappears into the skin, giving a gorgeous dewy finish. After a few more minutes it feels like nothing. However, my oily skin looks dewy in comparison to my husband’s dry skin. The best part of this sunscreen is that there is no white cast at all.
How does Beauty of Joseon relief sun sunscreen perform throughout the day?
The light weight texture, gives SPF 50 protection against UVA and UVB radiations. It is very moisturizing. However, the hydration level may differ on different skin types. For dry skin it is great. For oily combination skin like mine, it makes it very dewy especially in hot and humid weather. But I also want to mention that my skin gets oily naturally, so I can’t just blame it on the sunscreen. Besides, this sunscreen is easy to re-apply. It does not pill or clump. However, it may feel a bit heavy as it is very moisturizing. I usually blot my face with oil absorbing sheets and then re-apply.
Application
Sunscreen must be applied 30 minutes prior to going out, because it takes at least 20-30 minutes for it to absorb completely into the skin and to start working effectively. First, apply your skincare. Let it sink and then apply sunscreen. Wait for sometime for the sunscreen to absorb and go ahead with your makeup. One thing we must remember that with sunscreen a little never goes a long way. You must follow the two finger rule. Use one finger for your face and the other on your neck. Take a generous amount and massage it into your skin until it absorbs completely. Only then the sunscreen will work its best to protect your skin. Always remember to apply the sunscreen 20-30 minutes prior to leaving the house.
How does Beauty of Joseon relief sun sunscreen work under makeup?
It works great under makeup. Because it is so light weight, it is great as a base. The hydrating formula does not enhance dry patches, instead it smooths the skin making it perfect as a base. I like the little glow it adds to the skin, since I prefer powder foundation.
Overall, I am loving the Beauty of Joseon relief sun sunscreen, as it performs wonderfully in everything. The hydrating, non-sticky formula with no white cast is what I prefer. It does not sting my eyes, does not pill, doesn’t break me out and wears well under makeup. Since it is fragrance free and alcohol free, it is perfect for sensitive skin people as well. I am glad to have tried this sunscreen. It feels like dream come true. I can say that I am now wearing it every single say even when at home. I purchased mine from Lazada Philippines.
