Alba Botanica Even Advanced Deep Sea Facial Mask Reivew

Hi! Today, I have the long over due face mask review of the Alba Botanica Even Advanced Deep Sea Facial Mask. I had mentioned it in my Amazon Skincare Haul a while ago. If you are a regular reader, you may know that I love trying different face mask. Especially the clay based masks as my skin is very oily and prone to acne. As you all know Amazon is a great place to shop and I get to try different brands on the basis of my preference. Since I was looking for all natural facial mask, I stumbled upon the Alba Botanica Even Advanced Deep Sea Facial Mask. There are so many face masks that I have tried that are made with all natural ingredients and many more.

The packaging of the Alba Botanica even advanced deep sea facial mask is great. A nice green color big fat squeeze tube, which is easy to use and travel with. I love when face masks use tube packaging as the product inside remains hygienic. All the details about the product are printed on the tube. I like the green color of the tube as it indicates that the brand is all natural and green.

The Alba Botanica even advanced deep sea facial mask is a clay based mask with all natural ingredients that are also 100% vegetarian. The main ingredients mentioned are water, kaolin clay, glycerin, aloe vera juice, safflower seed oil, Montmorillonite, Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide etc. While Kaolin clay helps to effectively exfoliate and draw out excess oil and impurities from the skin. The aloe vera, glycerin and Alba’s Marine Complex hydrate and nourish the skin. This formulation also stimulates cell regeneration for a more bright and even complexion.

The mask inside is white in color. The consistency is very thick. However, it still feels smooth, reminds me of so many other clay based masks I have tried. The thickness of the mask is felt while squeezing the tube and when we are applying it on our face. It has a nice herbal scent. I also want to mention that it dries rather quickly.

I apply a decent amount on my face and neck and leave it on for approximately 10-15 minutes. That is the time our skin needs to absorb all the goodness of the mask. However, on the tube it is mentioned to leave it on for five minutes. If you have sensitive skin I suggest you follow the instructions of using it for five minutes. My skin usually does not have any problems. After it is dry I wash it off with running water. Instantly, my skin feels very soft, smooth and brighter.

I am a regular user of different face masks and other skincare, it helps to keep my skin in good condition. I don’t really have uneven skin tone but using this mask made my skin brighter and diminished the look of a few dark acne spots. In the beginning I used this mask diligently thrice a week for about a month, just to see the results. And I have to say my skin looks brighter and more even toned. The acne marks on my chin area are visibly lighter and less obvious. I can say that it helps to even out the skin tone. If you have some sun damage or discoloration, it will definitely help.

Overall, I love using the Alba Botanica even advanced deep sea facial mask to maintain and keep my skin healthy and radiant. It is one of the mask that actually does what it claims. Besides, I believe oily skin people should exfoliate and use clay masks on a regular basis. I say this with experience. But sometimes using clay based mask does dry the skin a little bit, I highly recommend using a good moisturizer or a hydrating mask after that, to add the lost moisture back to your skin. I tell you regular use will make your skin look younger, more brighter and radiant. It will also help you get rid of acne and help in preventing them.
