Hi! I received another beautiful blush palette in my Boxycharm subscription. The Alamar Cosmetics Colorete Blush Trio in Medium/Tan. When Alamar Cosmetics was introduced some time back, I was excited about the brand. Lucky me, I received the Reina Del Caribe Eyeshadow palette last year. And I was very happy to see the colorete blush trio, in one of my Boxycharm subscription box.
Alamar Cosmetics is a cruelty free brand, created by Gabriella Trujillo. She is a very talented makeup artist. I discovered her through Kathleen’s videos. This makeup brand was created to embrace Gabriella’s Cuban culture and stay close to her roots, even when she was far from home. She was born is a place called Alamar in Cuba which means “close to the sea”. Hence the name of the brand.

Our Colorete blush trios are formulated to glide seamlessly over your cheeks while offering maximum pigmentation. Our buttery smooth formula contain micro shimmers and are completely vegan, talc free, and cruelty free. Fragrance free!
The packaging of the Alamar Cosmetics Colorete blush trio is a simple card board box. I like the galaxy theme of the palette. It looks pretty with those rose gold accents. I also love the way it snaps shut, due to the magnetic closure. There are three shades of blushes, placed beautifully in the palette. I like that the names of the blushes in written below each blush. This palette retails for $22 and is available in three different shade ranges: Fair/Light, Medium/Tan, and Dark/Rich. I also like that they have included a nice mirror this time.
The Alamar Cosmetics Colorete blush trio, that I have is in the shade range of Medium/Tan. I am glad I did not receive the lighter version. The medium/tan is perfect for my medium olive complexion. The three blushes in the Colorete palette are – Seclusion, Isla and Toasted. I love the color selection. Peachy, coral and pink makes it good to mix and match. It also gives that lovely natural looking flush look.
Seclusion – Seclusion is a light peachy shade. But it is too light for me. I usually mix it with the other two shades to make it work.
Isla – A beautiful coral color. Perfect for the summer time.
Toasted – Toasted as the name suggests it s deeper rosy pink blush. It gives the most beautiful and natural color to the cheeks. This is my favorite.
The formula of these blushes is great and also talc free. The pigmentation is great too. In fact, it is nice and soft. Blends well on the skin. But, I want to mention that all the blushes have fine micro shimmer, when we look closely, in the palette. However, it does not transfer on to the skin. Like it is not noticeable that you look like a disco ball. It gives a healthy and lovely glow, especially the shade Isla reminds me of the Milani baked blush in Luminoso. The lasting power is good. Since I have very oily skin. It fades in about 4-5 hours.
Overall, I am loving the Alamar Cosmetics Colorete Blush trio palette. The quality is great and the price is affordable too. I have been using these blushes individually as well as by mixing the shades. I like this about the palettes, where we have a few different shades and we can mix and match according to our liking. Like the Too Faced Face palette and also my Maybelline blush palette. I highly recommend looking into the brand. They have some great selection of products.
