Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask Review

Hello everyone! Today I have Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask to review. Himalaya Herbals is an Indian brand, who have always focused on developing safe, natural and innovative skincare and healthcare products. Even though it is an Indian brand, their skincare range is available in many other countries. All the products by Himalaya Herbals contain natural ingredients with health care  benefits. I have already spoken about my favorite Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Mask. Today, I have the peel off mask from their Purifying Neem range. The Purifying Neem range caters to the oily acne prone skin and there is face wash, face mask and peel off mask that help to control acne and lighten the dark spots as a result of acne and pimples.

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask

Product Description – Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask is packed with neem and turmeric, a time-tested herbal combination well know for their anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. The mask reduces oiliness and the recurrence of pimples, lightens pimple marks, leaving you with clear skin.

The packaging of the Himalaya Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask is a soft, squeeze tube. There is a brand logo and other details and directions printed on the tube. I like the white and green color of the tube. Besides it looks natural and trustworthy as well as it shows that the product inside is more natural and plant based. The packaging is perfect and travel friendly. The packaging of all the “Neem Range” is similar.

The mask inside is translucent green in color. The consistency is quite gooey and of medium density. It is easy to apply evenly. There is a nice natural herb like scent to the mask. The scents seems very similar to the eucalyptus oil. However, eucalyptus oil is not one of the ingredients mentioned on the list. First of all, the scent clears the nasal congestion, as soon as you apply the mask and relax. I just love this part a lot.

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask

The key ingredients in the Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel Off mask are Neem and Turmeric. But there are other ingredients like alcohol too. I don’t how I feel about that. 🙂

Neem – Neem is a herb that has many health benefits. It is known for  it’s anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties. The benefits of neem includes soothing irritation on the skin, reduce inflammation, protect the skin, treat acne, boost the immune system, improve oral care etc. Thus neem is a very important tree in India for ages.

Turmeric – Turmeric is best known for it’s antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to soothe the skin and make it soft and supple. However, regular use of turmeric in face masks also helps to brighten the skin.

I apply an even and medium thick layer of this mask in the upward direction, and leave it on to dry. It takes around 15-20 minutes for it to dry completely. Sometimes more, it depends on how thick the layer is. Besides, thicker layer peels off easily and evenly. While the mask is drying it tightens, but does not stretch or pull the skin. Then I peel this mask off, starting from forehead. I just love the peeling process. After peeling off the mask my skin looks smoother and brighter instantly. I see similar results when I use my Laneige sleeping mask. It gives a nice glow to the skin, however I don’s see much reduction in my oiliness though. My skin looks cleansed and my pores are less visible.

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask

Overall, I just love using the Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask. My skin feels cleansed and bright. Besides it has also helped to lighten the dark spots. However, there are other skincare and masks that I am using in conjunction with this peel off mask. Like my Pixi Glow Mud Mask, the dead sea mud mask as well as the pixi glow tonic that I am using once or twice a week. All these have played an active role in clearing my skin. I will continue using the Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask as I just love the overall experience of using this mask. It feels like I have got a professional treatment. The results are great, besides it is very-very affordable.

On the packaging, it is recommended to do a patch test first. The only downside is that it contains alcohol. I suggest using this mask before some important event as, we see instant glow and brightening effect after peeling this mask off. However, I feel the effects does  not last long but regular use of this mask will help in the long run. Also using it regularly, will help prevent acne and pimples. With continuous use of this peel off masks, it will also help in reducing the facial hair too. I love this mask a lot and will have to wait to repurchase it when I visit India.

Until next time stay bright and beautiful! 🙂

I love the sound of this face mask! It looks so refreshing and the ingredients are so healthy. I’ve heard that turmeric has so many health benefits and neem sounds fantastic especially as it boosts the immune system too. I really like the green and natural theme on the tube, this would definitely make me pick it up in the shops. Your photography is brilliant as always Via. Thank you for sharing 💖 xx

I love the peeling process when I use a peel off mask, it’s so much fun!!! I haven’t used one in ages, the last one was not a success, took ages to dry and had to remove most of it with water 🙁

I was so fascinated by the peel off masks when they were newly launched. Long time I did not use any peel off mask. But loving the freshness of this mask. Thanks a lot Jennifer. 🙂

This sounds like such a good mask. So nice that it works so well for you! Peel off masks don’t suit my skin type well, but I have a couple I have for small areas on my face occasionally.

  • I’ve not heard of Neem before but I do know Turmeric has skin benefits so the two combined sound ideal. I love peel off masks too, there’s something so satisfying about slowly peeling them off, haha! Great review, Via! xx
