WOMAN by Ralph Lauren Eau De Parfum Review

Hi girls! Happy Women’s day, to all the women reading this post. I thought it is the best day for my Woman by Ralph Lauren Eau De Parfum review. I purchased this fragrance a while ago and love it. This is my first Ralph Lauren fragrance. I have only known about him as an American fashion designer. And I am familiar with the brand logo because I have seen it on husband’s t-shirts.:-)

Product Details – A scent that embodies the essence of modern femininity. Woman by Ralph Lauren reinterprets the iconic tuberose, an elegant white flower, with an alluring blend of rich, vibrant woods; fresh pear and ripe black currant.

Top notes : pear, rhubarb, black currant.

Middle notes : tuberose, orange flower, Turkish rose.

Base notes : Sandalwood, hazelnut, vibrant woods.

The packaging is beautiful and elegant. The outer box is white and golden in color with WOMAN printed on it. It draws immediate attention when you are looking for a fragrance for women. 🙂

The bottle is more in line with the men’s bottle. It is like a hip flask and has a pretty little lid attached. This lid flips open and close. The embellishment around the lid is all golden with the Ralph Lauren insignia on the lid as well as across the top golden part of the bottle. It looks pretty, elegant and a simple bottle. The amber colored juice inside the bottle shines beautifully in the well lit up stores. I love the over all golden vibe of the Woman by Ralph Lauren fragrance, it reminds me of the Elle Saab Eau de parfum which I have already used up. Sad! I know. 🙁 But I have saved a tiny bit, until I buy another bottle. Haha! 🙂

Woman by Ralph Lauren Eau de Parfum was launched in 2017. It is a floral fragrance created by perfumer Anne Flipo. She has created many popular fragrances like Lady Million the iconic fragrance by Pacco Rabanne, Lancome’s La Vie Est Belle, Jimmy Choo’s Ilicit. She has almost 30 years of experience in this industry. I had La Vie Est Belle on my list but could not find it. May be some day hehe 🙂

Woman by Ralph Lauren Eau de parfum is an absolute beautiful floral. At the first spray itself, you will feel the ultra feminine warmth in it. It is fresh and warm but not citrus-y. It has that juicy scent due to the top fruity notes of Pear, Rhubarb and Black Currant. The crispiness of the fruity notes lingers through out the wear of this fragrance. However, it transforms more into white floral later.

The lovely floral heart comes to action with all the white floral notes. The Tuberose, Orange blossom and Turkish rose all together just uplifts the senses. As I mentioned the fruity vibe is there through out the wear, it turns into a floral along with the juicy fruity top notes. All blended very well together. However, the floral scent gives a fresh spring/summer feel that will brighten your day.

After, about an hour or so, as it continues to dry down, the woody base notes come into action. It turns a little powdery due to the sandalwood, I guess. However, the woody notes are not too strong, but the floral is still there. However, I feel the rose disappears after a while, I am not sure. Maybe, I am used to stronger rose fragrances like the Loccitane Pivoine Flora, which is more rosy. But the overall, Woman by Ralph Lauren is very mysterious and sultry. It is a lovely fragrance for the modern woman, who is confident and stylish. This fragrance also reminds me of my Valentino Donna which is a lot more woodsy and spicy. Projection wise, Woman by Ralph Lauren is fairly strong. You can dress it up or dress it down. The longevity is great too. Up to 5-6 hours, but will last longer when worn on the skin. It is a very versatile fragrance that we can wear it all year round. I don’t fuss about that, I wear what I feel like and when I feel like. Even though it is a fruity floral it is never too sweet or becomes over bearing. Both fruity and floral balance each other well, by adding the warmth of the woody notes.

Overall, I love this fragrance a lot and highly recommend to those who prefer floral fragrances. This is my first Ralph Lauren fragrance and I am very pleased with my purchase. A great fragrance for today’s modern woman. I suggest check it out. This can be a lovely gift to the lady in your life. It is perfect for all time. Be it school, college or office or even for some special occasions like weddings and parties. It is an attractive fragrance that will not go unnoticed. Woman is a good title for this sophisticated fragrance.
