Sephora Collection Contour Blush Palette Review

Hi! When I saw the Sephora Collection Contour Blush Palette, I couldn’t resist buying it. Firstly because the price is perfect and secondly because I love makeup and skincare by Sephora Collection. I love their clay mask, the lip stains the makeup brushes, eyeshadow, lipsticks, lip liners etc. Besides that I also love blushes and these shades just spoke to me. Having different shades in one palette where you can mix two different blushes and create your own shade, I love doing that. There are some drugstore blush palettes as well as some other palette in my collection. But today lets take a look at the Sephora Collection Contour Blush Palette.

Sephora Collection Contour Blush Palette Review

Product Description – A pressed powder blush palette with six universally flattering shades. Six spicy shades of matte and shimmer powder blushes bring depth and soft definition to cheeks.

The packaging

The contour blush palette comes in a card board box. I love the spicy orange and peachy gradient color and the holographic lettering on the outer packaging. All the details about the palette are printed on the back of the outer box. The palette inside, is a sturdy plastic palette with a translucent lid and six large blush pans. I really wish there was a mirror. However, we can clearly see the blushes inside the palette. There are six shades of blushes, of which two are matte and four shimmer shades. It is a warm toned palette with some spicy peachy, pink and nude blushes.

The texture of these blushes is very fine and smooth. These blushes are very pigmented and I love it. However with pigmented blushes you need to be light handed. These blushes blend well and the lasting power is great too. I want to mention that I also use my favorite Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray to set my makeup.

The Shades – There are no names mentioned on the palette or on the packaging, however when I checked Sephora’s website I found the names of these blushes. Starting from top left to right and bottom left to right, here are the blush shades.

Rosy Nude – The top left is a muted rosy pink nude shade in matte finish. It has a slight peach undertone to it. The pigmentation of this blush is excellent. In the swatch you can see that it swatches deeper than it looks in the palette.

Pink Peach – The middle shade in the top row, is a medium bright peachy pink shade. It has a shimmer finish. Great blush shade for summer time.

Bronze – The top right shade in the palette. It is a rusty gold shimmer shade with some red undertones. It is a pretty shade but it is more like a deeper rusted golden shade of highlighter to me.

Rust – The bottom left shade is such a pretty blush color. A muted brick red shade with some brown. I love it. The pigmentation is lovely and has a shimmer finish. Even though it looks the darkest in the palette it more on the sheer side.

Rose – The second matte finish blush in the middle of the bottom row. A pretty medium warm toned rosy pink with some peachy orange undertone. It is a muted shade but the pigmentation is great.

Orange Peach – Orange peach is at the bottom right corner. This is more of a golden shade with a slight peachy orange shift. However it is not duochrome. It has a shimmer finish. The pigmentation is less and hence we can use it as a highlighter.

Overall, it is a beautiful palette to have in your collection. I am loving this palette. I love the shade variety and different finishes in this palette. The pigmentation is great and it is such a versatile palette. We can use it as a highlighter, eyeshadow, bronzer as well as blush. It is perfect for all skin tones.

Even though the top row looks lighter than the bottom row, the shades are quite similar in swatches. But I don’t mind. I love blushes and this has become one of my favorite palettes like the Too-Faced blush palette and also my Cover Fx Face palette. If you like the look of warm tone blushes you will love it. It is still available on Sephora. I know I am always late with my reviews but I always try and test out and then feature them here. 🙂 Do you love having a blush palette or single blushes? Let me know.

Until next time stay safe, healthy, bright and beautiful! 🙂
