Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Eyeshadow Quad -Ritualistic Rose Review

Hi! Today I am here to share my new Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Eyeshadow Quad in Ritualistic Rose. This is my first purchase by the brand and am very excited to share my thoughts. I know I am very late with my review. But this beauty needs to be on the blog. This palette was released at the end of 2019 along with other quads. But this one spoke to me and I wanted to try. They are still available on Sephora.

First of all, I was on vacation for a month and am so glad we were able to travel to US. It was a lovely vacation, spending some quality time with my family. After long time we were able to go out and about which actually felt amazing. The highlight of my travel is shopping for some makeup and skincare.

As you are all aware that Pat McGrath is not an affordable brand. But the glitz and glamour of this brand can never go unnoticed. YouTube channels and social media always keeps buzzing with the beautiful makeup by Pat McGrath. Besides they come out with new eyeshadow palettes very often and they look stunning. Their mothership palettes are way too pricey so I got the smaller quad with stunning colors. Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Eyeshadow quad in Ritualistic Rose is my first purchase ever, it is definitely one of my treasured makeup palettes along with some others, in my eyeshadow collection.

Pat MacGrath Blitz Astral Eyeshadow Quad in Ritualistic Rose is a limited edition palette with four beautiful shimmering shades. The packaging is super luxurious. Like the mothership palettes the quads are also packaged in a pretty cardboard box. The palette inside has the same glossy black packaging with gorgeous gold insignia. The bottom of the palette is also golden which looks expensive and luxurious. A card with the name of the eyeshadows is included in the packaging.

The Pat McGrath Blitz Astral Palette in Ritualistic Rose features four shimmering shadows. As the name suggests it is one of the most beautiful rosy toned palette. It has a mix of warm and cool tones of gold and pink. The formula is super silky and smooth. All four shades are opaque to semi-opaque, pigmentation with fair amount of shimmery sparkles. The four shades are –

Antique Gold 002 – is a light medium gold with a moderate amount of warmth to it. It has a sparkly finish. The pigmentation is opaque and applies evenly and blends out nicely too. However, it did feel a bit firm in the pan. It lasts a long time on the lids, which is again amazing.

Astral Rose Orchid – is a bright duo-chrome peachy-pink shade with gold shift to it. The finish is extra sparkly as it has flecks of visible glitters.

Rose Quartz 005 – The third shade in the quad is a darker medium toned plum shade in a sparkly finish. It is a beautiful plum shade with some warm undertones with cool pink sparkles. The finish is metallic, with opaque pigmentation.

Beyond Bronze 003 – The fourth shade is a medium warm toned bronze shade with some warm golden undertones. It has a metallic finish, but is less metallic in comparison to the other shades in the quad. But the pigmentation is great and has a creamy feel to it.

Overall, I think Pat McGrath Ritualistic Rose is a fun palette with some really unique shades, that I don’t already own. It adds a bit of oomph to the look. It is such a versatile four pan palette. You can create multiple looks using these colors. I believe the shades are also very flattering and will work on different skin tones. I am so happy that I bought this quad.

The rosy shades are one of my favorite colors to wear. But, now I wish to try the other Pat McGrath palettes as well. Even though these palettes are pricey they are worth the money. For me it was the whole experience of luxury. Right from opening the palette and looking at the beautiful shimmery shades was awesome. I highly recommend you try at least one of the quads. The quality is on another level. You can use it with both dry as well as damp brush. With damp brush the colors are richer and more intense. There is no fallout even though there are shimmers and glitters in the eyeshadows, which is amazing. Have you tried Pat Mcgrath palettes? Which one is your favorite?
