Olay White Radiance Light Perfecting Essence! Why I love it!

Hi! Today, I want to talk about why I am loving Olay white radiance light perfecting essence. I am on a mission to try out affordable drugstore skincare and beauty tools during this time. When I see an anti-aging and brightening skincare that get rid of fine lines and wrinkles while adding radiance and glow to the skin, I need to try. Since I really liked the texture of Pond’s Essence recently, I thought I must try the Olay one as well. Besides I noticed a few dark spots on my nose and some acne spots on my chin area. So I thought of testing this essence because it claims to lighten dark spots and give radiant complexion.

I have a few favorite drugstore brands that I trust and have used their products for the longest time. Olay is one of them. I love their anti-aging serums and moisturizers. Since I love light weight serums I got Olay white radiance light perfecting essence to try.

Olay white radiance collection uses a Skin Brightening Complex to address the appearance of hyperpigmentation that cloud your skin’s natural luminosity. Olay white radiance light perfecting essence dispenses dual whitening action. It is supposed to enhance skin radiance in 7 days. It also claims to reduce dark spots and uneven skin tone in 4 weeks. The key brightening ingredients are Xylitol which increases skin hydration and boosts skin translucency. Sepitonic complex improves light reflection within the skin. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is known to brighten skin tone and reduce the look of dark spots and pigmentation. Sepiwhite and Hexyldecanol also helps reduce the look of dark spots.

The packaging is pretty. I love the heavy glass bottle. The iridescent white color is lovely. I especially love the cap as it is an automatic dispenser of the product. The first time I used this kind of cap was on my Lancome Genifique Serum. It is great to see this luxurious packaging in drugstore skincare. It is so much better than the simple regular dropper.

The texture and consistency of the Olay white radiance essence is smooth and watery. It is milky white in color with some pink iridescence. The faint floral fragrance is very pleasing. I don’t prefer fragrance in my skincare, but I don’t mind in this. When I apply to my skin, it instantly absorbs into the skin. The best part is, that it feels like nothing. Absolutely nothing, which I love. Having oily skin I prefer these kinds of skincare. I use 2-3 pumps for my face, neck and a little bit on the chest area. Take a look at my short video below 🙂

Essence is the third step in my simple night time skincare routine. Since I am not wearing any makeup these days, I use a mild cleanser. I tone my face using my favorite Thayer’s Witch hazel toner or sometimes Pixi Glow tonic, essence, serum and sleeping mask. For the past few weeks, I have been using this essence as my day moisturizer as well. It is absolutely perfect for my oily skin. I have been using this for the past month. I also noticed that the dark spots on my nose and chin have lightened and my skin is brighter and more radiant.

Sometimes I think when drugstore skincare works so good, why spend extra $$$ on luxury skincare, when the results are almost similar. I highly recommend Olay white radiance light perfecting essence. Overall it is an absolutely wonderful product to try. If you want to add radiance and glow to your skin, you must try. It will help in getting rid of dark pigmentation and even out your skin tone.
