Hi! Today I have the new L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Intense Volume Matte lipstick. I know it’s all about L’Oréal these days. The new L’Oréal Paris color riche intense volume matte lipstick are available in 12 intense shades. I am a huge fan of L’Oréal color riche lipsticks and when I saw the new launch, I had to get at least one shade. Besides the slim look of the lipstick is just beautiful and unique. It also reminded me of the YSL slim lipsticks.

The new L’Oréal Paris Color Riche intense lipstick is slimmer, more long wearing, more hydrating and more matte. A matte lipstick with up to 16 hour wear is infused with hyaluronic acid. The caring formula keeps lips feeling moisturized all day with intense color payoff.

The Packaging

The black rubberized slim packaging is absolutely luxe and elegant. I love the shiny golden insignia of the brand. The slim lipstick also feels very classy to hold.

Formula & Pigmentation

The formula of the new L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Intense Volume Matte lipstick is purely matte. However, it is also very light weight and does not feel heavy on the lips. It is like powdery matte, but not flat. L’Oréal is serious with the word ‘Intense’ in the name. The pigmentation is super intense in one swipe. Thus you need to be careful with your application. Even though the slim lipstick allows for easier and more precise application, I’d say you need to take your time to apply this lipstick.

There are 12 beautiful shades available and I have the shade 480 Leplum Dominant. I could get just one as others were out of stock. You can clearly see the images as well as the short video below.

480 LEPLUM DOMINANT

A beautiful deep dark berry plum shade. I guess this is the darkest shade I own. It is a lovely shade for deep skin tones and a perfect bold color for fall and winter time. If you are not a bold lipstick wearer, you can always wear this as a stain. Just dab it on the lips and blend it with your fingers. This will sheer out the shade. The sheerness of the plum shade is beautiful on all skin tones.

Overall, this is a super intense lipstick. The shade is too dark to wear during the day but it is beautiful as a stain. The lasting power of this lipstick is more than 7- 8 hours. I have not tried wearing it longer. But at the end of the day it fades beautifully and leaves a light stain on the lips, which I love. These are available on L’Oréal Paris Website.
