NEW Estee Lauder Looks To Envy Face Palette Review

Hi! I have a quick review post on the new Estee Lauder Looks to Envy Face Palette. I am guessing this palette is the new limited edition release. However, I could not find any post or information online. New, because there is one Looks to Envy Palette that was released a couple years ago. Maybe, the new one is just available here in Philippines.

I am not sure why I got this palette because when it comes to palettes I am more of a smaller size makeup palettes. But I liked the look of it and picked it up. The other reason was that I have not tried any eyeshadow or blushes by Estee Lauder. I love their pure color envy lipsticks as well as the skincare. Even the recent limited edition lipstick sets that was released during holidays and the Chinese new year.

Estee Lauder looks to envy face palette is a bigger palette with 20 eyeshadows, 3 sculpting blushes, 1 bronzer and 3 shades of pure color lipsticks.

The packaging of the palette is absolutely beautiful. The all golden color palette with a pretty bow looks and feels luxurious. The magnetic closure is strong and fantastic. Estee Lauder packaging is always my favorite. They rarely disappoint. The bold red outer box is very attractive. It did attract my attention. However, this large palette does not come with any brush. I wish they at least included a lip brush for the lipsticks.

There are 20 medium neutral toned eyeshadows with a few shades of deeper grey toned blues. There are 6 matte shadows and 14 satin shadows. With this palette you can create multiple different looks from neutral eyes to smoky ones. The shadows are great for beginners and if you are not a makeup pro like me.

The formula of these shadows feels stiff, dry and powdery. However, a few matte shades are smoother but lack pigmentation. I tried to use the palette but it did not work for me. Even in the swatches you can see how light and patchy they are. I am comparing these shadows to the Dior palettes I own. However, the formula and pigmentation of the sculpting blushes and bronzer are great. They feel soft, smooth and perform well. The color payoff is good without being too intense or extremely pigmented. The shades are perfect for light to medium skin tones. I like the look of a light wash of color on the cheeks.

The three shades of lipsticks in this palette are pretty. Coral, Insolent Plum and Defiant Coral. However, they have included two shades of coral red and one berry plum shade. I wish there was one neutral lipstick instead of one coral. But, I guess a girl can never have enough lipsticks is true.

Overall, I am not that happy with my purchase. I expect better quality from Estee Lauder. Or maybe the limited edition palettes are cheaper hence the quality suffers, I don’t know. I have purchased their limited edition lipstick set and they are amazing. I don’t recommend getting this face palette. Instead, spend your money in getting something else, just pass this one and wait for their holiday releases. 🙂 Have you tried any of Estee Lauder Eyeshadows? What are your thoughts? Please let me know in the comments.

Until next time stay safe and beautiful! 🙂
