Hi! Today, I want to share the new Chanel Les Beiges water fresh complexion touch foundation. This is the first time I tried a base makeup from Chanel. And I am in love with it. I purchased it during my travel to Switzerland, in Dubai. Actually I was looking for Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint. But it was out of stock and this new Chanel Les Beiges water fresh complexion touch was what they had at the counter. I needed something so I got the shade B40, and used it during my Swiss trip.

The product complexion touch is packaged in a clear cylindrical bottle with a pump. We can clearly see the distinctive texture and color of the product. The complexion touch inside is so unique and beautiful to look at. You can watch the short video below. The complexion touch also comes with a small but dense brush which is great for on the go and it is perfect for targeted application like under the eyes around the nose etc.
Texture & Consistency
The unique texture and consistency of the new Chanel Les Beiges water fresh complexion touch is one of a kind. This is the first time I have seen and experienced something incredibly unique. The pigmented micro droplets floating in a watery gel like texture is very pretty. We can see also see the shade clearly.
Shades
The new Chanel Les Beiges water fresh complexion touch is available in a vast selection of 16 shades. It retails for $70 on Chanel’s website and other retailers. But I purchased it for $65 during my duty free shopping. I got the shade B40, because it was the best match for my complexion. The shade B40 is a medium beige shade with neutral undertone.
Formula & Coverage
The new Chanel Les Beiges water fresh complexion touch is a lightweight skin tint/foundation/concealer. It is a watery gel like serum infused with pearl like pigment droplets floating. It looks beautiful and was fun to film. The clear serum feels like water when applied on the skin. It also feels fresh and hydrating, while the pigment droplets deliver the color and the coverage.
Application & Experience
I dispense one pump on the back of my hand, blend it and then dab all over my face and blend it with my dense kabuki brush. I sometimes use my fingers to blend it and it works. It blends seamlessly giving a nice radiant looking complexion. Radiant complexion that is dewy and not shiny. It is just magical. It gives a light to medium coverage, which can be build. One pump is more than enough for my whole face. I like the lightweight feel, as if I am not wearing any makeup. It covers all the redness and other imperfections of the skin. However, if you need more coverage adding a second layer will do the job. I dab some extra if I need to do some concealing.
Overall, I love that it feels refreshing and water like when applied to the skin. The natural finish is what I always prefer. The imperfections on my skin may be visible but this foundation gives that soft glowing look to my face, which is unbelievable. It smoothens the skin flawlessly and feels very lightweight, comfortable and hydrating, which is absolutely necessary for my oily skin.
It wears well throughout the day. However, my skin does get a bit oily, in hot humid climate. I don’t mind using a blotting paper to absorb the extra oil and I am good. I love this foundation and have already bought (actually hubby darling got the extra ones for me) two backups. This is first of its kind and I am very impressed with it. If you are planning to buy it, I’d say go for it. It is truly amazing. Investing in a good base makeup from a brand like Chanel, can never go wrong.
