Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hi! Yes! It’s Natasha Denona again. But, this time it is the Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette. After trying some mini palettes like the Nude Palette and the Sunset Palette, I got the mini star palette. It was not on my list but when I saw it, I picked it up with a couple of other lipsticks and fragrances while I was shopping at Time Square Sephora store. As usual I also want to mention that I love collecting mini size makeup.

Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

First of all Natasha Denona is killing it with her miniature size palettes and quality. I am really loving this brand, after trying a few makeup bits by Natasha Denona. Their mini blush and glow palette is so pretty.

Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette is another pretty little palette to choose from her mini makeup line. If you are looking to try this brand and also if you are a beginner and want to start with some wearable shades. I really love that she is coming out with these mini size palettes that are so affordable. Besides these are easy to store in my already large collection. 🙂

Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

Product Description – A brand new, holiday mini eyeshadow palette, inspired by the Star Eyeshadow Palette. The palette features five shades from the existing Natasha Denona Star Palette. These shadows are long-lasting, with strong color payoff, thanks to a high percentage of pure pigments. Extremely buildable and blendable, these shades will not crease, and they easily adhere to the eye, even without using primer.

The packaging of the Natasha Denona Mini Star Palette is similar to her other mini size palettes as well as her full size ones. It is a small palette with clear lid that is hinged. Clear lids make it easier to pick a palette when we own many. However, there is no mirror. The quality of the palette is great and sturdy. It is also perfect for travel and to carry in your purse.

It is a tiny little palette. When we calculate the price, it is not the best value for money but the quality is there. I have never finished an eyeshadow palette or even a single, so I am not complaining.

Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

The Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow palette features two matte and three shimmer shadows. All the five shades are identical to the larger Star Palette. They have included five most beautiful shades in the mini version. The shades are –

Orion (105DC) – A beautiful duochrome plummy-brown shade with teal green shift is the most unique and complex shade in the palette. It looks absolutely incredible in the pan. The texture is smooth however it is firmly pressed.

Atik (117CM) – A matte soft camel brown with lots of warm undertones. This shade is perfect transition shade for most skin tones. The texture is very creamy with great pigmentation. It is just glorious to work with.

Bellatrix (103M) A soft coppery rosy pink shade is stunning as overall lid color. It has a metallic sheen with great pigmentation. I love using this as one shadow look, when most of the time I am lazy. 🙂 It is super flattering on all complexion.

Earth (102CM) – An earthy deep brown with some neutral undertone. The pigmentation is gorgeous. The formula is soft and is also a bit powdery. But I love how it blends without any patchiness. It is just beautiful.

Cosmo (109K) – A pretty sparkling golden color with some greenish olive undertones. The texture of this shadow is a bit gritty and chunky. It is also a difficult shadow to work with and there is some fallout.

I have been using this palette off and on and have not encountered much issues with it. All the shadows are soft and smooth and also blend easily. They work better when layered and build slowly. However, the golden shade Cosmo and Orion are a bit difficult to work with. These are the two shades I was excited about. But, I am fine with it, as my looks end up the same all the time. Lol! I don’t own the larger palette for comparison but I am still happy with the mini palette. The color selection is pretty and unique. I don’t own any palette with these kind of tones. We can also pair this palette with some of the other shades.

Overall, I am glad to have the mini star palette. It is a pretty one for fall and winter time. But, I don’t care about that. I use whenever I wish to. It is a versatile palette and great for day as well as night time looks. However, I believe the other Natasha Denona palettes – The sunset palette and the nude palette that I own have a better formula than this mini star palette. I love collecting miniature size eyeshadow palettes and am still glad to add this to my collection, even though it is not as perfect. The quality of the shadows is nice especially the mattes and it is also a great way to try the popular Natasha Denona Eyeshadow palettes without breaking the bank. Have you tried any of the Natasha Denona eyeshadow palettes? Which one is your favorite?

Until next time stay healthy, bright and beautiful! 🙂
