Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette Review

Hey lovelies! I am here again with another review on Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette. Every beauty addict, I am sure is familiar with the award winning beauty blogger Huda Khattan. She is everything related to beauty. Her makeup line Huda Beauty is very much loved for the great quality and variety of products. She first released the liquid lipsticks, which I have not tried. 🙂 Her eye shadow palettes are a rage in the beauty industry. Her Dessert Dusk palette is so pretty but pricey that I did not purchase. However, when I heard about her new Obsessions line, I was eager to at least get one palette. I picked the Warm Brown Obsessions Palette while waiting to do my payment. These palettes are so small and cute I couldn’t pass them.

The packaging of the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette is a black sturdy card board box, with magnetic closure. It is very small and cute. I love small palettes because it is easy to travel with them. This palette is super compact and lightweight. It can fit even in your hand bag. It also has a nice mirror.

There are six mini palettes to choose from – Warm Brown, Mauve, Smokey, Electric, Coral and Gemstone. Coral and Gemstone have been recently added to the Obsessions Collection.

The Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette is a beautiful warm toned palette. It features nine eye shadows of which eight are matte and one is a beautiful shimmery shade. The moment I saw this palette  I loved the trendy shades. Well, I already knew that I would love this palette. It is all about warm browns, reds, oranges and a couple of neutral hues. These shades compliment each other perfectly.  This palette reminds me of the Milani Earthy Elements palette that I have spoken about.

The formula of the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette is very soft and creamy. There are a couple shades that are a little powdery and not too soft. However the pigmentation of these shadows are great. Some do not swatch well but perform beautifully on the eyes. These eye shadows blend easily and seamlessly. The lasting power of the eye shadows in the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Palette is also great. I don’t wear makeup for too long but these last well on my oily lids haha! 🙂

Because there are no names to the shadows I will mention them as numbers in my swatches.  I will start with first row, then middle row and finally the last row from left to right.

#1. The first shade is a medium dark red almost leaning towards burgundy shade. It has some warm undertones and is matte finish. Very pretty shade with good pigmentation.

#2. This shade is a bright orange color with strong golden undertone. Golden as in not shimmery but has a kind of a little yellow tinge to it. This one again is has high pigmentation and feel soft and creamy.

#3. A rich brick orange with strong red tones to it. The finish again is matte. The texture of this one is not soft but a little stiff, however it  works well on the eyes.

#4. This shade is a deep dark chocolate brown color and has a matte finish. This one also feels a little powdery and looks patchy in the swatch but performs well on the eyes.

#5. A beautiful and rich copper shade with some warm orange undertones. This is the only shimmery shade in the palette with some metallic finish. This is also very creamy and I love this shade. I love shimmery shades in general. But there is a little fallout with this shade. We will need a wet brush to work with and get that intense metallic look too.

#6. This is a light overall lid shade that is more like bone color. It’s like a cream shade with a hint of pink. This has a matte finish and great brow bone shade as well.

#7. This one is medium warm peachy orange shade with a hint of red to it. Again a matte shade with good color payoff.

#8. This eye shadow is a light warm brown almost a nude shade for my skin tone and has a matte finish. This is nice and opaque as all other eye shadows. 🙂

#9. A medium rich warm brown. Almost like a copper shade with some warmth to it. This looks quite similar to the first shade but warmer. This one also has a matte finish.

Overall, the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette is a very beautiful warm toned palette. The color selection of the palette is absolutely gorgeous. If you love warm neutral toned eye shadows like me, then this is a great one to have in your collection. Besides it is very compact and travel friendly. This is a must try because of the price point as well. Here I also want to mention that on Sephora Website these palettes are available for $27, while on Huda Beauty’s Website it is priced at $36. Even though the palette is tiny the pans inside are quiet big and hold a good amount of product. This palette is also available on Amazon.  I just love that there is no space wasted in the palette and this makes it super compact. I highly recommend the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette. 🙂
