Himalaya Herbals Natural Glow Kesar Face Pack Review

Yes! Here is another face pack that I want to talk about. The Himalaya Herbals Natural Glow Kesar Face Pack (aff) — something I have been using for years. It is time that I write about it. As I have mentioned in many of my posts, I love using different face masks; whenever I visit India, I restock my favorites and get a few new ones to try. However, I only write about the ones that I really love.

Masking is one of my favorite things to do. I love the relaxation time and the instant gratification. Actually I always dose off while relaxing lol. But using a face mask is a must for me. I use different face masks according to my skin’s needs. Sometimes it is a fun peel off mask, hydrating mask, glow masks, all natural coffee mask, and when my skin looks dull I use an instant radiance mask. Masking is a serious skincare process for me. And I believe no skincare routine is complete without a face mask.

Let’s talk about the Himalaya Herbals Fairness Kesar Face Pack.

“Himalaya Herbals” is one of my favorite skincare brands. I love their face washes and their face masks even more. The neem range is one of my all-time favorites.

With the goodness of Turmeric, Walnut, Indian Aloe, and Kesar, it rejuvenates and cleanses your skins off impurities, to reveal a natural glow. Walnut and Indian Aloe are known for their skin-friendly properties soothes skin and removes visible blackheads. Turmeric and Kesar are known to enhance your skin’s complexion.

The Himalaya Herbals Fairness Kesar Face Pack has been renamed to Himalaya Natural Glow Kesar Face Pack. Otherwise, everything is the same. It is a clay based face mask that helps reduce discoloration of the skin and adds a natural glow to the face. It also cleanses the skin while enhancing the complexion. The key ingredients are all natural and simple.

Indian Aloe – Indian Aloe, known for its skin healing properties, helps moisturize your skin.

Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth) – It is a natural and gentle clay. It helps to deep cleanse the pores and also firm the skin.

Kesar (Saffron) – Kesar reportedly lightens the skin, enhances the complexion, and gives your skin an even tone.

Turmeric – Turmeric is a powerful ingredient in skincare. It is a natural, anti-bacterial, and antiseptic agent. It is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties that help gently soothe your skin.

Walnut – Walnut is known to possess an abrasive property that helps remove dead skin cells and tone the skin.

The packaging of the Himalaya Herbals Natural Glow Kesar Face Pack is a nice squeeze tube with all the details printed on it. I like the easy to use flip-open lid. The vibrant, saffron color reflects one of the product’s main ingredients. The packaging is travel-friendly. Kesar pack reminds me of another face mask that I have tried and love it. It comes in a huge tub with lot of product.

The light cream, face mask inside has a thick but creamy consistency. It has a pleasant herbal scent. It is more like a mix of saffron, clay and turmeric.

Application

I apply a decent amount of the face pack with my fingers. It spreads easily because of its nice and creamy texture. After application there is a slight tingling sensation that dissipates after some time. I leave it on for approximately 15-20 minutes and wait for it to dry. I like that it does not stretch or pull the skin like some other face masks. However, it is easy to tell when it has dried. Afterwards, I wash it off with cold water. It is also easy to wash. It doesn’t feel sticky or take too long.

After washing the mask my skin feels soft and smooth. It looks brighter and more refined. This mask also suits all skin types. It does not dry the skin like some other clay masks that I have tried in the past. However, it is always good to follow it up with a moisturizer to hydrate your skin. Your skin will feel and look dewy and plump. This mask is also great for removing tans. However, you will have to use it a few times and, gradually, you will see a difference. But I highly recommend not going out in the Sun between 11PM and 3PM because our skin gets tanned easily anyway. But if absolutely necessary you should always wear a good sunscreen with a high SPF.

Overall, this is another face mask that I am loving. The kesar face pack helps keep my skin at it’s best. It has slowly lightened a couple of dark spots. It is great to reduce pigmentation, has definitely improved the texture of my skin, has made it brighter, and more evenly toned. I highly recommend trying this mask. It is very cheap and affordable. And it is easily available on Amazon India, the Himalaya website, and most grocery/drugstores near your house.
