Glamglow Gravity Mud Firming Treatment Mask Review

Hello gorgeous! Another day, another mask! Glamglow Gravity Mud Firming mask review is here. I have mentioned it earlier anything that promises firming or anti-aging or anti-wrinkle on the packaging I am ready to try. Anything for a nice, radiant and younger looking skin. 🙂 Thus I had to try the Glamglow gravity mud firming treatment mask. Besides it was trending on social media on it’s launch. I got the mini size one. It is the best way to try a new product and it is also cheaper.

About the brand – Glamglow is a luxury skincare brand founded by a couple to help provide Hollywood professionals instant camera ready skin. With all its luxurious and chic packaging it quickly became a go-to skincare brand for beauty gurus and celebrities alike. Skincare that was created specifically for Hollywood beauties was later available to everyone else. Because of that Hollywood appeal it became popular rather quickly. Their mud masks have won multiple awards and are highly rated and well loved by everyone. Yes! Those mud masks that come in white and black packaging are my favorites too.

The packaging of the Glamglow gravity mud firming mask is very pretty. i love the purple and silver packaging. It is attractive and luxe. Glamglow has always used different color packaging for each of their products. Sometimes I tend to forget the name or the mask but I know the color of the packaging and it helps. I got the miniature size and it is really cute. The full size jar comes with an application brush, but since I bought the mini one I don’t have the brush to share here.

The texture and consistency of the mask is interesting. It is thick and smooth and it also reminds me of glue. Of course it is a peel off mask. If you have tried peel off masks earlier, the texture and consistency is the same. However this one is a pearly white in color, which after it is dry turns into metallic silver which is fun and looks amazing. It has a strong coconut scent. The Glamglow gravity mud mask is a skin firming mask that helps to repair, lift and firm the skin giving it a more radiant and younger looking appearance. The main ingredients in this anti-aging mask is glacial clay that helps to tighten the skin. It is also packed with anti- inflammatory marine algae that helps to protect from environmental damage. Icelandic kelp helps in revitalizing the skin, giving you a perfectly balanced, glowing and youthful looking skin. It also includes plant extracts like licorice leaf and marshmallow that help to soften and smooth the complexion.

Application – It is simple, I take a generous amount and apply the mask using my clean fingers. I try to keep it even throughout the face and leave it on for approximately 30 minutes. I make sure the mask is completely dry. When the mask is completely dry it turns into metallic silver. It is fun and looks lovely. My kids and hubby call me robot. To extend the fun I keep the mask on for some more time. 🙂 Later I peel it off. It does not pull the skin or feel painful while peeling it off.

Later my skin felt clean and refreshed. I have to say it looked brighter and smooth. It delivers instant result of a soft and smoother skin. However, I did not notice any lifting or firming feeling as I do with my Fresh Black Tea Firming Sleeping Mask. But, I enjoy using these kind of fun peel off masks. It makes me feel I have been to a spa.

Overall, I love this super cool and probably the jazziest peel off mask, I have ever tried. It makes my skin smooth and brightens it up. I love how this mask transforms from white to chrome as it dries. However, I also love the after effects of this mask. I like how my skin looks and feels after using this mask. It did slightly soften the look of fine lines after my third use of this mask and dark spots were less obvious. As skincare is a slow process, it will take time to see some great results but I truly trust the fabulous ingredients hyaluronic acid, red algae and liquorice extract present in this mask. These ingredients are very effective to plump the fine lines, tone and firm the skin, while also protect the skin against environmental damage.
