Estee Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R] Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum Review

Hello skincare lovers! Today, I have Estee Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R] wrinkle lifting and firming serum to talk about. I have been using anti-aging creams and serums since my late 20s. I am all about preventing fine lines and wrinkles and slowing down the process of aging. The products that promise lifting and firming, I am like, Yes please! And when a trusted brand like Estee Lauder does it, it is like cheery on top.

Estee Lauder is a leading brand for skincare and makeup for many decades. I love their Double Wear foundation, the double wear light foundation and also the Pure Color Envy lipsticks. I need to do a post on the lipsticks I own. 🙂 Well, I have used Estee Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R] wrinkle lifting and firming serum about five to six years back and remember loving it. It uses patented technology and promises to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. Overall giving a firm and youthful looking appearance.

Product Details – Significantly reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Facial contours appear firmer and more defined. Breakthrough CPR-75 Technology is proven to double skin’s natural collagen building power. *Instantly, lines and wrinkles are plumped and smoothed. Skin feels smooth, looks fresher, younger. Estee Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R] wrinkle lifting/firming serum is like some filler for the face. You massage it on the concerned areas of the face as well as on your whole face. I use is it under my moisturizer. With continuous use it starts to plump and firm the face. It is also good for any discoloration due to sun damage, so your face looks healthier and brighter. Apparently their CPR-75 technology doubles your skin’s natural ability to produce collagen. And some of the active ingredients include various botanical extracts that work by enhancing the natural healing, rejuvenation, repair and renewal functions.

The packaging of Estee Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R] wrinkle lifting/firming serum is very pretty and luxurious. It is a convenient and sturdy bottle with a pump. But my pump is not working. Maybe, I did something wrong while opening I guess, but never mind. I just love the purple color of the bottle and also the gold lettering. My favorite part of all the Estee Lauder packaging is their EL insignia in gold. It is just beautiful to look at and I love it so much.

The consistency of the Perfectionist serum is light like a serum, but I feel it is a little thicker than other serums I have tried. It has that emulsion like texture. However, it is very light weight and goes onto the skin very smooth and easy. It also absorbs into the skin instantly. It has a pleasant scent which I like. Not too over powering but the scent is perfume like. Even though it contains fragrance, it has never bothered my eyes or given my skin any kind of irritation.

I have been using it twice a day for the past few months. Some days, I have skipped but have used it regularly. As soon as I apply to my face, it instantly smooths my fine lines and wrinkles. I feel that silicone like silky smoothness, which I love. Of course, the base ingredient is dimethicone and other silicon based ingredients. However this can be an irritant to some. My skin remains smooth and silky all day. The most surprising thing is my skin does not feel oily at all through out the day. But it does not feel dry either. It is at the perfect point of hydration. I hope it makes sense. 🙂 When I look closely into my skin it looks dewy and plump.

Over time after using Estee Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R] wrinkle lifting/firming serum, overall my skin has significantly improved. I am talking about the fine lines and wrinkles. It feels more firm and have seen significant improvement around my eyes, forehead and my laugh lines are a little less obvious. I also want to mention that I like to do my weekly massage, which might also be adding to that feeling of firmness. It does not clog pores and I did not get any acne breakouts after using this. My skin feels more hydrated, radiant and plump, like it is at it’s best and has no concerns.

Overall, I am absolutely impressed with this serum. It did not take much time to show the results which is actually very impressive. I have almost used half of this bottle and will love to buy another one. But before that I have to use up my Estee Lauder Midnight Recovery Serum. Later, I will decide which one my skin likes the best. Or my skin misses the Perfectionist, when I stop using it. I will let you know. But right now, I like what I see in my bathroom mirror. And yes it is not the light. I use the magnifying mirror to check the results hehehe. 🙂 I can say it is one of the most effective anti-wrinkle formula in serums that I have tried.
