Hey Lovelies! Today I have the Colourpop Yes, Please! Pressed Powder Shadow Palette to review. Colourpop is one makeup brand that is probably everyone’s favorite. I have never heard anything negative about this brand. Colourpop Yes, Please! Pressed Powder Shadow Palette was launched a while ago and was also limited edition. It was out of stock for a very long time and used to sell out instantly when restocked. Later, it became permanent. When the whole world had one in their collection, it was available on the Colourpop Website, and only then I was able to get my hands on this beautiful eyeshadow palette. There are millions of reviews on this palette, but, I wanted to add one more to the million because this palette is just gorgeous! 🙂
Product Description – PRESSED POWDER SHADOW PALETTE.
Pressed powder shadow Highly pigmented shadow that applies evenly and feels ultra-velvety and silky. This long wearing formula contains a unique combination of softer powders which adheres easily to the eyes, gives soft focus effect, and blends smoothly and evenly.
Colourpop Yes, Please! Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is clearly a warm toned palette, but also features some very warm neutral sunset hues. I just love the mix of mattes and shimmers. This palette is often compared and mentioned as a very close dupe to the Natasha Denona Sunrise Palette. I will not hesitate to mention that it is a close dupe, because there are many shades in this palette that are similar to the Sunrise Palette.
The Packaging of Colourpop Yes, Please! Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is similar to the other palettes like the Fem Rosa Palette or the Dream Street palette. This palette comes in a bright, sunny yellow colored box sleeve. The palette inside is a convenient and sturdy card board box packaging. The magnetic closure is perfect and easy to travel with. The light grey color of the box looks simple but when we open the palette we see the bright sunset colors. The palette has that rubberized matte feel to it. However, this packaging will get dirty soon. Even though the name of the palette is Yes, Please! it is printed only on the outer packaging, while the actual palette says CUTE AF. It feels like they had two names in mind for this palette and could not decide, so they kept them both haha! 🙂
The beautiful Colourpop Yes, Please! Pressed Powder Shadow Palette features twelve eyeshadows and there is a perfect mix of mattes and shimmery metallic shadows. There are eight matte shadows and four shimmery ones. These twelve eyeshadows are mostly warm neutral hues. The colors featured in this palette are mostly browns, burgundy, pinks, peaches and reds, with the perfect pairing of shimmer shades of gold, orange, bronze and rose gold. These mattes and shimmer shades complement each other perfectly. The shades paired together look absolutely gorgeous.
The formula and consistency of the pressed powder shadows is incredibly creamy and smooth. These eye shadows are very finely milled. the pigmentation is intense and opaque. The application is easy and these blend evenly and effortlessly. These eyeshadows last a long time on the lid.
Full- Zip – This shade is a light beige with a slight warmth to it. This has a matte finish.
Big Cocktails – A beautiful bright rich orange with some warm undertones. This shadow also has a matte finish.
Champs – A light warm toned peachy shade with a hint of pink.
Bling – A deep copper shade with slight redness to it. However, in the swatch it is purely intense copper color. This one has a metallic sheen to it with no glitter.
Louie – A darker coral shade with a hint of copper and red undertones. This is again a shimmery finish shadow. However, I just love these kind of shimmer shades.
Butter Cake – This is one of the shades in the palette, that catches the eyes. A yellow golden shade, which looks like a newly polished gold. This one also has a beautiful metallic sheen finish.
Spoiled – This is difficult to describe, but a deep reddish orange shade with matte finish. The color looks very rich in the pan.
GNO- This is a muted brick orange with some brown undertone. Again a matte finish eye shadow.
Mischief – Another eye catching shade in the palette. A bright, yet muted yellow color with matte finish.
Note to Self – This shade reminds me of biscuits. It is a medium brown not too dark nor too light. This shade has a hint of warmth to it though. It also has a matte finish.
Chauffeur – A bright medium orange with some golden yellow tones. In the swatch it looks like muted yellow gold, (which is not pure 24k gold). Even though it looks muted, this one has a sparkling shimmer finish.
French Kiss – A deep dark rich brown with a slight warmth. This shade is matte finish. In the pan it looks warmer than in the swatch.
Overall, a great palette. No wonder it is one of the best sellers. I highly recommend the Colourpop Yes, Please! Pressed Powder Shadow Palette, if you are into warm toned shadows. This is a perfect palette for all complexion and to have this beauty in your collection. The formula is creamy, blends seamlessly and the color selection is great. You can create numerous looks with this palette. Soft glam to ultra glam the possibilities are unlimited. Even though, it is a bright and vibrant palette, you can create a soft natural looks too. This is one of the stunning palettes I have in my collection. This palette is available on the Colourpop website for $16.
Have you tried any of Colourpop eyeshadow palettes? Which one is your favorite? What do you think of this palette? Let me know in the comments. Thanks a lot.
Until next time take care and stay beautiful! 🙂
All I can say is wow! While I haven’t tried anything from Colorpop, the shade that has made the biggest impact on me from your photographs is Chauffeur. I don’t think I’ve seen a shade like that very often although it brings to mind Trophy Wife from Fenty (which I also haven’t personally tried but)…I’m properly amazed:)
LOOOOVE the look of this! Hope you’re having a wonderful week!

I do hear a lot of good things about Colourpop although I have yet to try any myself. This palette is a little too warm for me, I suit cooler more greige or purple shades but I like the sound of how well the powder goes on and stays on. Lovely detailed review, Via, and beautiful photos as always! xx
