Colourpop It’s My Pleasure Eyeshadow Palette Review Swatches

Hi! Purple is one such color that is favorite of many and so is Colourpop It’s my pleasure eyeshadow palette. Colourpop is one of my favorite brands for quality products and reasonable price. The smaller nine pan palettes are my favorites as they don’t feel overwhelming to me. When I saw the Colourpop It’s my pleasure palette, I was instantly drawn towards the color story. I purchased this palette a long time back. But before it got delivered I was already travelling back. So this time I was able to bring it along with me. When I opened this palette, I remembered why I ordered it. It is a very pretty palette with different shades of pink and purple. Well, not all shades belong to the purple family but the colors complement each other so well.

When Colourpop released their monochromatic palettes in different color family, It’s my pleasure was one of the early releases. The overall look of these palettes remind me of the Huda Beauty Obsessions Palettes. However, the Huda Beauty palettes are pricier in comparison to the Colourpop palette and I am not complaining.

Colourpop It’s my pleasure is a nine pan monochromatic pressed powder eyeshadow palette. This palette features shades of pinks, mauves and purples which gives variety in the shades. It is a palette for those who love pink and purple eyeshadows.

The packaging of Colourpop It’s my pleasure eyeshadow palette is bold, bright and beautiful. I love the glossy finish of the compact. It is pretty and attractive. I also like that they have color coordinated the theme of the palette with the packaging. It is small and great for travel. The best part is it stands out in your collection of eyeshadow palettes.

Kittenfish – Kittenfish is pretty lavender shade in matte finish. Even though it is a powder formula the consistency of this shade is silky soft and smooth. The pigmentation is almost opaque when we swatch it.

Do or dough – Do or dough is a pretty magenta pink with cool undertones. It also has some fine blue and purple sparkly shimmers. In the pan it looks darker in comparison to the swatch. Due to the blue and violet sparkles the shade leans more towards lavender and less magenta pink on the eyes and even in the swatches. The pigmentation is great and buildable.

Pretty Cruel – Pretty cruel is a warm toned reddish plum shade in matte finish. However, it also has some golden sparkles scattered though out the shade, which looks pretty. The pigmentation is great and feels soft and light in consistency.

Bare Minimum – Bare minimum is a beautiful berry shade with cool undertones. It has a shimmery sparkly finish due to the fine flecks of shimmer. This shade is very pigmented and looks beautiful, so I suggest you use it light handed when using this shade. I feel it is more loosely pressed in comparison to the other shadows.

Earthshine – Earthshine is light warm pink shade with peach undertones. This shade also has some blueish shimmers in metallic finish. The pigmentation is lighter but delivers some intense shine to the lids. The texture is soft and creamy and gives that high shine sparkly finish.

Chick Lit – Chick lit is deep purple shade with some cool undertones. The consistency of this shadow felt a bit dense. It works well with a damp brush. The pigmentation is great and blends easily. It looks deeper in the pan than in the swatch.

Mr. Sandman – Mr. Sandman is a little unique with brownish purple shimmery base with some cool pink and blue sparkles. This richly pigmented shadow has metallic finish and is loosely pressed. So you have to be careful while using this shade to avoid fallout.

Fan Fiction – Fan fiction is a dark pink with cool undertones. The finish is matte. It felt more powdery. However, the pigmentation is nice and buildable.

Sleeper – Sleeper is deep cool tone berry shade in matte finish. The pigmentation is rich and smooth but the texture feels drier. However, it blends well with some effort.

Overall, it is a gorgeous palette and still available on Colourpop Website. If you are into purple shadows, it is a must have because of the beautiful shade selection and the affordable price tag. The shadows blend easily and feel soft and smooth. Even though it looks like a purple palette it is very versatile and you can play around with shades to create different looks.
