Hi! Hope you all are doing well. Today I have J Cat Beauty Love Struck Blusher plus bronzer to review. As you all are familiar with J Cat beauty is a Cruelty free makeup brand with high quality makeup which is also VERY affordable. You can check my post on their highlighter and the liquid lipstick. I had no plans of reviewing this blush. But I am so impressed with it that I had to. So here is J Cat Beauty Love Struck Blusher plus bronzer in the shade Kitten Kisses.
Product Details – Discover a new way to blush. A ground breaking hybrid that combines the customized cheek blush and bronzer shimmer. Each hand-stamped Cat formulated with healthy shimmery minerals – creating the perfect balance of pigment and gives an effect of “bronzer”, and no tow look alike. Love Struck Powder will deliver a radiant, natural finish and offer buildable color to imbue the entire complexion with an otherworldly glow.
The packaging of the J Cat Beauty Love Struck Blusher is very simple. A small plastic compact with clear lid with the brand’s name printed on it. Since this is a very inexpensive blush, I don’t expect much in the packaging department.
The blush inside looks very cute and adorable with a little cat hand-stamped on it. The cat part on the blush looks satiny with some sheen. However, it is just an over spray of glitter (actually it is not glitter though) that goes away after a few swatches.
The formula of the J Cat Beauty Love Struck Blusher plus bronzer is surprisingly very smooth and creamy. Well! I expected that after using their You Glow Girl Highlighter. It is smooth and silky to touch and blends well and easily. We have to be careful not to overdo it because of it’s pigmentation. Little goes a long way.
J Cat Beauty Love Struck Blusher plus bronzer is available in 12 gorgeous shades. From bright pinks to muted rose-y pink to peachy corals. There is a shade for every skin tone and preference as well as the natural looking blushes. I just love the shade range. I got the shade Kitten Kisses which is a pretty muted rose-y pink. It is a perfect shade for my medium skin tone. The pigmentation of this blush is insane. It reminds me of my ELF blush palette even the Maybelline Master Blush palette. This one is that good. You can see the swatches in the picture below.
As the name suggests this line of blush is marketed as J Cat Beauty Love Struck Blusher + Bronzer. I don’t understand the bronzer part. This is just blush to me. Even the cat part after the over spray is gone the shade is kind of similar. Maybe a tad bit darker. I see it as a blush. However, I checked on the website there are a few shades where the cat part is a little different. Those we can use as a blush as well as bronzer. But again I wonder how a big bronzer brush will pick up just the bronzer shade from the small compact. Besides the pigmentation is intense. 🙂
Anyway, for me it is purely a beautiful and highly pigmented blush. This is also very inexpensive. This blush has a little bit of sheen to it, which gives a healthy color to the cheeks. This is beautiful and long wearing. I highly recommend trying this blush. It is fantastic and very very affordable compared to the a lot of higher end or even drugstore makeup brands. These blushes are available on the J Cat Beauty website as well as on Ulta’s website for just $3.99. It is also available on Amazon.

This is another brand that I know through beauty boxes but gosh, how gorgeous is the shade! I love blushers and this shade looks right up my alley.

It is an online brand mostly based in LA I guess. But they have a store in my area. I love the shade as well as the quality for the price. 🙂

Thanks for the warning! I actually prefer less pigmented blush cause I’m more of a “slap my makeup on as quick as possible person” and a pigmented blush will lead to clown face really quick. LOL
