Hi! It’s about Chanel CC Cream SPF 50 today. After loving the Les Beiges Water Fresh Complexion Touch for a while, I confidently purchased Chanel CC cream SPF 50 and was lucky enough to get the right shade. Since I prefer light to medium coverage, this is one of the perfect fit. Besides for those who are not familiar with this product, this CC cream is skincare and tint in one.
Product Description
A single tinted moisturizer, 5 superpowers: evens, moisturizes, corrects, protects, illuminates. Harnessing the expertise of CHANEL Research and the innovation of the CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio, CC CREAM with broad spectrum SPF 50 combines skincare benefits with a longwearing, medium-to-full coverage makeup effect. The result: a more luminous-looking complexion with a glowing finish. After 1 month of use, the enhanced formula helps to correct signs of aging, improve skin’s texture and visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Day after day, skin appears healthier, with natural-looking radiance.
Packaging
The Chanel CC cream SPF 50 comes in a sleek, white, soft squeeze easy to use tube. The quality of the tube feels nice. I like that we can control how much product we want to dispense. I also like that plastic tubes are super convenient to carry, use and are less messy. All the details are printed on the tube. It is available in five shades ranging from 10 Beige to 50 Beige. I got the shade 30 Beige.
Formula, Coverage & Finish
The Chanel CC cream with SPF 50 is enriched with skincare ingredients like Murunga plum extract that is rich in Vitamin C helps to protect skin from environmental aggressors while enhancing the texture and glow. Another super star ingredient is a new form of hyaluronic acid that helps to hydrate the skin through out the day, which makes the skin look plumped. I am also excited about the SPF 50, with no white cast or flashback.
This CC cream provides medium to full coverage which I was not expecting. However, the overall finish is very natural looking, with some dewy glow, without being greasy. It evens out the skin effectively, covering all my imperfections like redness, dark circles and concealing large pores. It blends easily even though the formula is a bit thicker than the Les Beige Water Fresh Complexion Touch. The coverage is smooth and flawless. It has a mild scent. I love how dewy it makes my skin look. However, having oily skin and when I am in hot and humid climate, I like to set it with my setting powder.
Application
I like to apply the Chanel CC cream with SPF 50 with my fingers. I dab it on my face and blend it using my fingers. As the last step I like to blend everything using my Tarte Kabuki brush. Alternately, I like to mix it with my moisturizer for a lighter coverage. Chanel website says that after one month of application, this CC cream will correct signs of aging and enhance the skin’s tone and texture. I have not used it enough to see any difference. However, it did not cause any skin issues.
Overall, I am loving this CC cream. I love how it makes my skin look healthy and glowing. Even when I use the slightest amount, it gives the most natural look and a decent coverage. I also love that I can build the coverage when I need it. The best thing is it does not feel heavy or greasy on my oily skin. It also lasts well so I don’t have to worry about touch-ups. The SPF 50 is one of the major plus point. I highly recommend it.
