Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion – Review

Hey Beautiful! Today I have a review on skincare product Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion. Dr. Brandt is a well known skincare brand with some amazing skincare products, that targets specific skin issues. I have been eyeing this brand for a really long time. What discouraged me from exploring this brand, was the high price range, however, I was very happy when I received Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion in one of my Boxycharm subscription box a few months back. It is a full size product which is amazing. However, I felt like there was a little less product in the tube. I may be wrong but from now on will always check. Never mind! 🙂

Exfoliation is one of the most important steps to be followed in our skincare routine. It removes the upper layer of dead skin cells, revealing smoother, softer, brighter glowing skin. Exfoliation helps in getting rid of the blackheads and whiteheads that are the main cause for acne. I always exfoliate, however if I am lazy for a week or so some blemishes pop up.

The packaging of Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion is pure blue colored large soft squeeze tube. The brand logo and some information about the product is printed on it. It is convenient and easy to travel with. Besides I love the bright blue color of the tube.

The product inside the tube is creamy and white in color.  It looks creamy, but the moment you spread it on the skin, you will feel the fine exfoliating crystals.

Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion is formulated with plant extracts and salicylic acid. The main ingredients in this scrub are :

Micro-size Aluminum oxide crystals which is very fine and helps to deep clean the pores and helps in improving the texture of the skin. Caviar lime extract helps in exfoliation resulting in smoother, brighter and even complexion. Salicylic acid helps to unclog pores as a result prevents acne. Lentil seed extract also helps to refine the look of pores.

The application of the Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion is easy. Before applying the product dampen your skin (not too wet) just wet your palms and pat your face, because if the skin it too wet we need to use more product. Take a little amount and gently massage in circular motion for approximately 1-2 minutes. Leave it on for a minute or two before washing it off.

The Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion is creamy but instantly turns into a scrub, the moment you spread the product on the skin. This is a professional grade physical and chemical exfoliator which does not feel abrasive on the skin. The exfoliating crystals are very fine and gentle even for sensitive skin people, however, I will suggest sensitive skin people to be a little careful when using for the first time. I love the minty scent and feels a little cooling and refreshing. The best part is, unlike other exfoliators, it does not leave your skin red after use.

In just one use I found my skin felt super soft and super smooth. I have used physical exfoliators by other brands earlier, however if the beads are bigger I don’t like using the scrub. But I also use my clay masks as exfoliators ( I have reviewed a few good clay masks that you can check) while washing it off I will use a sponge to gently massage the mask and then wash it. However after using Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion my skin felt ultra soft and smooth which is amazing. Regular use will give great results.

Over all, Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion is the best exfoliator that I have tried. After each use skin is super soft and smooth, furthermore it also helped in reducing the shine on my oily face.  The pores are less visible with over all improved texture of the skin. I highly recommend trying Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion if you have oily combination skin. However, even dry and sensitive skin people can use it once a week and see the results. The Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion can be purchased from the Dr. Brandt Website as well as from Sephora. This scrub is also available on Amazon which is great, because I love shopping on Amazon whenever I am in US.
