Viseart Patit PRO 2 Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hi! Here is another miniature size eyeshadow palette in my possession. Viseart Patit PRO 2 Eyeshadow palette. This is the first time I tried anything by Viseart. I have heard people rave about this brand on social media and YouTube. When I saw this palette in the isle of doom, while I was waiting to do my payment at Sephora, I picked it up to experience the Viseart brand. I also loved the color story of this palette.

Viseart Patit PRO 2 Eyeshadow palette is a pretty pink-y berry toned palette. There is a combination of four matte and four shimmer shadows, which I like. I also like the way the mattes and shimmers are laid out in this tiny little palette.

These versatile, pigment-rich colors in matte, satin, and shimmer textures were curated from Viseart’s heritage Parisian formulas to create day to evening looks that look as stunning in photographs as they do in person. Besides This palette is gluten-free, microbead-free, cruelty-free, and petrochemical-free.

The packaging of the Viseart Patit PRO 2 is a little unique. First of all, it is a tiny palette just like the Nars Mini Wanted palette. However, I also prefer these as it is easier to travel with and smaller palettes do not feel overwhelming while choosing the colors :-). The packaging is a little unique. It is a card board box which unfolds when we pull the ribbon. The magnetic closure is strong and makes it feel expensive. Of course, it is a pricey brand. However, the names of the shadows is not printed on the actual palette but on the outer cover. If you are prefer having names you will not be able to throw away the outer packaging. There is a tiny mirror inside.

Petal – Petal is a light peachy coral shade and has a matte finish. I like this shadow as it feels smooth and has nice pigmentation.

Nectar – As the name suggests it is a bright coral orange with matte finish. I feels creamy and the pigmentation is opaque.

Honeysuckle – A dark brown with a hint of red undertone to it. This one also has a matte finish.

Foxglove – A darker berry purple color. It looks dark in the pan, however there is less pigmentation as you can see in the swatches. In the swatch it looks like light berry color with some pink tones.

Primrose – A medium rosy pink shade with a beautiful name. This one has a metallic finish. But, the pigmentation is very little.

Clove – A beautiful rich copper shade with a lot of red undertones. This one also has a metallic finish. The pigmentation is great. It is my favorite shade in this palette.

Cosmos – Another dark shade in the palette. A dark plum with a mix of some brown with some sheen. The pigmentation of this one is superb and blends well. I like to use this color for that one shadow look.

Aster – A dark rosy mauve shade and has a metallic finish. The pigmentation is great and looks pretty.

Overall, this is a lovely palette. One thing I have noticed, is that these shadows don’t swatch well but perform beautifully on the eyes. Some of the shades have a little texture and some dryness to them. However, it is easy to build the color and they don’t get muddy. The shades are comparable to my Mini Tarteist Pro palette.

I would say it is a great palette for someone who just wants a wash of color on the lids. The shimmers work better when patted with fingers. It did take me sometime to get used to the mattes. Foxglove is the most difficult matte shade to work with, and one shimmer shadow Primrose actually lacks pigmentation. But, I am still happy with my purchase. I really wish the price was a little reasonable for the size of the palette. I would love to try some other shades in this line. Have you tried any of the Viseart eyeshadow palettes?
