Hi everyone! Today I am here with a different kind of post, where I talk a little about myself. I hope you like to read and know a little more about me. I am really happy to do the Versatile Blogger Award tag. I was tagged by sweet Lisa from lisasnotebook.com for the Versatile Blogger Award Tag. I love reading these posts as we learn more about the person whose blog we are following. I have done this before, when I was tagged by Hannah from hannahthemaddog.com for the Sunshine Blogger Award. I am really thankful to Lisa for considering me for this tag. I feel so honored. :-).
When I first started reading blogs I was very much fascinated by the award logos featured on other blogs widgets. I would feel these are award winning bloggers. Now I feel proud to be in the same category yay! 🙂 Thanks to Lisa as well as Hannah. You brought the feeling of being accepted.
WHAT IS VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARD?
It’s a way of finding our more about bloggers that you may already know and follow, and also supporting other bloggers – win, win. The rules are very simple.
- Thank and link the person (people) who nominated you.
- Share 7 facts about yourself.
- Nominate 15 other bloggers for this award.
HERE ARE 7 FACTS ABOUT ME.
I am good at drawing a map and locate multiple cities and countries on it, however reading a map to follow directions is difficult for me. I remember landmarks. Two years back when we moved to Philippines (earlier we were in Cambodia for 6 years) I was walking back from my son’s school (I chose to walk because I was confident that I will reach home safely) and I was lost. I could understand that I am close to my home but could not find my way. I was new you see. 🙂
I am VERY scared of lizards. So much that if I see it or talk about it I get nightmares. Where there is a lizard with a big head and it just jumps on me. 🙁 When I was in grade 10 I did not select Science as my subject as I was scared of small insects and worms. I could not imagine myself dissecting anything.
I was a teacher before my elder son was born. I have taught students from grade 4 to grade 11. 🙂
I play a lot of games on my iPad. I don’t play difficult games like my kids. I love playing games like Cradle of Empires, Sudoku, 2048, Threes Bejeweled Classic, Township and I recently got the Pixel Art coloring by number. It’s fun and relaxing. My fingers are always moving on my iPad.
I have the habit of using way too many emoticons. When I text, comment or even when I am writing a blog post I automatically add an emoji to the end. 🙂
I love to take naps in the afternoon. However, it is difficult for me to sleep when it is very quiet at home. I need to listen to my kids voices to sleep well. No matter if they are shouting, talking or playing I need them on my side so I can sleep soundly. 🙂
I am a very happy person by nature. You will always see a smile a big one or rather a grin on my face. Hehehe even right now. 🙂
Thanks a lot for taking the time to read and once again Lisa it was very kind of you to nominate me. Hope you enjoyed reading this post and knowing a few things about me. I have not nominated anyone as I the blogs that I follow have already done this tag. If any one of you want to participate in this tag, please let me know I will link you here 🙂
Until next time take care. 🙂
Aw, this was so lovely to find out a little more about you! I’m not a fan of lizards either although my daughter loves them, plus I am hopeless at map reading too, haha. And there’s no such thing as too many emoticons 🙂 😉 😉 xx

Aww I’m glad you appreciated me nominating you! I loved getting to know you. Oh man, I was in Mexico and there were lizards EVERYWHERE (in Tulum and Chichen Itza) I an personally not afraid of them but you would’ve hated it!
Hannah the Mad Dog
Hannah I was over the moon when you had nominated me sweetie :-). It felt the same this time. By the way thanks for informing me. I will never plan a visit to Mexico. But I also want to visit some day. 🙂
