Hi! Thierry Mugler Alien Eau de Toilette is a fragrance that was on my wish list for a very long time. Actually, it is the bottle that first caught my attention. The beautiful purple color is very attractive and a huge temptation for me. This is my first Thierry Mugler fragrance ever. It is such a popular fragrance and seems like every woman owns a bottle. However, I believe I have smelled it on some ladies while passing by, or at some wedding, in some elevator or somewhere. You will feel the same about this fragrance, as it has been around for a really long time.

Thierry Mugler Alien Eau de Toilette is a floral-y, amber-y, woody goodness blended together, that unfolds the notes of jasmine, white amber and cashmeran wood. It shines brightly as Thierry Mugler Alien Eau de Toilette sparks our senses with some citrus top notes like lemon lime. That mild citrus-y vibe is very refreshing. It is truly beautiful and classic in its own way.

The packaging of Thierry Mugler fragrances is always the most unique bottles, be it Angel or Alien. It looks like a gem stone. And the bottle of Thierry Mugler Eau de Toilette is no different. It is a beautiful purple colored bottle, which looks like an alien but also represents a perfect purple crystal. The bottle is like an object from another universe. Distinguishing between the bottles of Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette is a bit trick, because both the bottles are some what similar purple crystal like. However, the Thierry Mugler Eau de Toilette is a bit lighter in color.

When you first spray the fragrance, you will get that sweet sparkly freshness of citrus. The citrus note is actually lighter. But within five minutes jasmine slowly dominates the composition. You have the jasmine and amber but placed in a cashmere base note. This cashmere note is less strong and intense. It’s like wood but much more softer and warmer. Sometimes there is some sweetness but fades rather quickly.

This fragrance has a light well balanced citrus and has more watered down version of amber and musk. It is basically white floral fragrance which is delicate and just gorgeous. After a few hours woody amber adds warmth. It is still light and fresh. It is great when you crave the scent but don’t want the heaviness. The amber in the dry down is soft. This Thierry Mugler Alien Eau de Toilette is like in a good mood enjoying and having fun. But still being an enticing Alien at it’s core. The sillage is medium to moderate and the lasting power is 6-7 hours on me. Even with moderate sillage it makes it’s mark like Elie Saab and Dior J’adore from my fragrance collection.

Overall, I feel Thierry Mugler Eau de Toilette is more feminine and more appealing, if you do not prefer stronger fragrances. It is like that rich lady’s perfume. It is more creamy and alluring on the skin. Great for regular office wear and also a great choice for brides. It is soft, delicate, beautifully balanced, versatile and feminine. I feel it is a beautiful fragrance to wear all year round. It may not be too intense in your face kind of fragrance but it will not go unnoticed.

It is also especially perfect for warmer weather and warm evenings. Alien is an intoxicating magic potion, I can’t help but adore. Thierry Mugler Alien is suitable for women who want to feel exceptional and feel unique. It embodies the feeling of peace and energy that is limitless.
