The Sunshine Blogger Award Round 2

Hey lovelies!

First of all I want to thank beautiful Sharna from lxpidolite.wordpress.com for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award. I am over the moon. I am really grateful that she considered me for the Sunshine Blogger Award. Thanks again Sharna you made my day. This is my second Sunshine Blogger Award post.  Earlier I was also nominated by Hannah from Hannahthemaddog.com. It makes me very happy to do these posts, even though I am a little late. 🙂

Everyone is familiar with the Sunshine Blogger Award. But last year when I just started blogging I had no idea. So, the Sunshine Blogger Award is an award created by bloggers for the bloggers to inspire positive thinking and creativity in the blogging community. This award is a peer recognition for bloggers that inspire joy, warmth and celebrate the hard work and togetherness.

My answers to the 11 questions asked by Sharna :

Q.   What is one thing you’d love to accomplish in 2018?

A.   I have not set any particular goals yet, however I am determined to work hard and grow my blog and social media as much as I can.

Q.  If you had to describe yourself in 3 words, what would they be?

A.  Happy, honest, motivated.

Q.  How did you get into blogging?

A.  I have been watching so many YouTube channels for many years now. Slowly I learned about the blogs. I transitioned into reading different blogs which was very interesting.  One day while I was returning from my grocery shopping, I saw a big poster at the L’Oreal counter that mentioned something about introducing brown lipsticks. I came home and googled, however I did not find any information about it. Usually when there is a new launch in US or UK there is so much information online like the names and swatches etc. That moment I thought I should have a blog where I can write about everything related to beauty. That is how I started my blog even though it took me sometime.

Q.  What would you probably be doing if you weren’t blogging?

A.   Well, I left my job when my elder son was born and never thought of going back. If I was not blogging I probably would just be wasting my time (whole day) watching something on YouTube and now Netflix, napping, rusting my mind and reading samples on Amazon’s Kindle store until my vision got blurred. Blogging keeps my mind occupied and the best part is I am learning so many new things related to blogging.

Q.   What is one random fact about you?

A.   I am a vegetarian right from my childhood.

Q.   What is your favorite song right now?

A.   Camila Cabello – Havana

Q.   If you acquired a time machine and had the opportunity to transport to anywhere in the world, past or future, where would you like to go and why?

A.   Well no particular place, however I would love to go in the future year 3000 to see the development man has made and also know if we have inhabited some other planet.

Q.   What is your go-to inspiration?

A.   I mostly review products that I use and like. If something is new, exciting and great for me I blog about it. However, we need some inspiration and that I get from my blogger friends. There are so many blogs that I read on a daily basis.

Q.   If you could learn any language, what would it be? Do you speak more than one language already?

A.   Yes, I can speak more than one language. In India there are many languages spoken and I know a couple of them very well and understand a few. But I would love to learn Spanish.

Q.   What is your ultimate favorite movie?

A.   There are so many Bollywood all time classic movies that I can watch over and over again. However, when Hollywood is concerned I think Titanic is my favorite movie.

Q.   Finally, where would you like blogging to take you?

A.   I blog because I enjoy the whole process. I never thought beyond that. However it will be great if I was able to earn a little income being a full time blogger. 😉
