NEW Colorbar X Jacqueline Glow With Love Highlighter 001 Prismatic Romance

Hi! Here is a quick review and swatches of New Colorbar X Jacqueline glow with love highlighter. I recently visited Bombay and because we had to take care of a lot of other ‘important’ (boring) work, our visit to malls did not happen. We did some duty free shopping though, which I have already posted about on my Instagram. However, I did squeeze in some time to go to Oberoi Mall with my younger sister and niece. It was nice to walk around and spend some time with my lovely sister. My niece was looking for a highlighter and I saw the new Colorbar X Jacqueline glow with love highlighter in shade 001 Prismatic Romance. But there was only one available at the counter and I liked it so much my sister gave it to me and she hunted down different malls and shops and got another one. How sweet of her! 🙂

The new Colorbar X Jacqueline glow with love highlighter is a collaboration with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes. There are two shades available in this range. 001 Prismatic Romance and 002 Prismatic Spell. Both the shades are absolutely stunning but also pricy. Hence I got 001 Prismatic Romance, because I loved the rosy golden shade. I also want to mention that both the shades look different in the pan but in swatches they are close to similar. If you look very closely, only then you will see the difference.

Packaging

The packaging of the new Colorbar X Jacqueline glow with love highlighter is gorgeous and luxurious. It comes in a sturdy card board box packaging with magnetic closure. The beautiful rose gold brand name with gorgeous Jacqueline’s glowing image is very attractive and eye catching. I love it. Even though the box is a bit bulky it is going to stay with me for a longer time. The little glossy compact inside is equally pretty. It is similar to my Charlotte Tilbury quad packaging only a little thicker. Sharp edges, perfect size and snaps close. The highlighter sits beautifully in all its glory with beautiful embossing and rosy gold color. It’s beautiful!

The highlighter is very soft and finely milled. The pigmentation is just right. Please check the swatch video. It is one of the most natural looking highlighter that I have tried. One swipe gives that natural lit from within look. You can also build this highlighter to your liking and requirement. In 2-3 swipes you will get that blinding, intense wet look. You can use this highlighter on your cheeks, eyes as well as lips. It’s beautiful.

Overall, it is a very pretty highlighter to own. This is one of those highlighters that can look natural as well as glamorous. The shade is absolutely perfect for all complexions. If you really want to get your hands on this one, go get it. Or if you love collecting beautiful makeup, this is definitely for you. But if the price is too much to spend on a highlighter, you will find some gorgeous highlighters at the drugstore at a lower price range. I am talking about the Maybelline Chrome highlighter which is also very beautiful and significantly less pricy. Have you tried this highlighter? What are your thoughts?
