New Afflano De’Lanci Nocturne Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Hi! Today, I will share my review about the new Afflano De’Lanci Nocturne Eyeshadow Palette. I am not a makeup artist and even though I love to have beautiful palettes in my collection, all my looks turn out the same. I also want to mention that I am not a big palette kind girl and I like my eyeshadow palettes small with limited colors. Larger palettes intimidate and confuse me LOL! However, when I saw the colors in the new Afflano De’Lanci Nocturne palette, I had to get it. This is my second palette by the brand and I am truly impressed by the quality and price. The first eyeshadow palette that I purchase by this brand was like love at first sight. The colors in that palette are just stunning. Check out my review.

Afflano is a makeup brand I found two years back on Amazon. It is a cruelty free brand with great quality makeup at affordable price range. Since I am aware of the quality and price of this brand, I was looking to find something interesting and this palette caught my attention.

Packaging

The packaging of the new Afflano De’Lanci Nocturne eyeshadow palette is a simple cardboard box with the starry night sky print. There is a large mirror on the inside. It is a 25 pan eyeshadow palette with a mix of matte, satin, shimmer and 5 glitter shadows. It is a warm neutral toned palette with some pops of blues and greens. I like that the names of each shadows are printed on the packaging. The glitters are very pretty. You can see it in the video below.

The formula of these shadows is soft and smooth. Especially the mattes and satins are absolutely gorgeous. The shades layer and blend well. However, there are a few shades that are less pigmented and feel a bit powdery to touch. But they work well with each other. There are five pressed glitter shadows, that are beautiful. I love the color story of the new Afflani De’Lanci Nocturne eyeshadow palette.

The Shades

Maple Red – A medium red with hints of pink. The finish is matte, with great pigmentation.

Cabernet – Cabernet is a deeper maroonish red with some brown in it. This shade is also matte finish with lovely pigmentation.

Story – Story is purely brown with cool undertone. This shade has satin finish and applies very smoothly.

Silence – Silence is a medium warm toned brown. The finish is matte and reminds of chocolates. It blends well and has great pigmentation.

Nocturne – Nocturne is the pretty one in this palette. The red base with multicolor glitter looks gorgeous when light hits. Do check out my little video. I tried to capture the shimmers but they are more beautiful in person. Since it is one of the pressed glitters, there is some fall out but a good base will keep them in place.

Nightingale – The first shadow in the second row is a light golden yellow. Great as base color which is also matte finish.

Earth – Another matte finish shadow in this palette. Earth is very similar to Cabernet but a little lighter. It is a medium tone red with just a hint of brown.

Ember – A pretty rosy shade with hints of gold, in satin finish. It is also very smooth with great pigmentation. It looks deeper in the pan but in the swatch it is lighter. Nonetheless, a pretty rosy shade that we all like.

Dark Clouds – Dark clouds is straight on matte black shadow, which we sometimes need.

Diamond Midnight – The second pressed glitter is black with a lot of silver sparkles.

Cocoa – A medium toned orange, with hints of brown, with lot of warmth to it. It has matte finish.

Scorched – A neutral shade of rosy pink. It is neither warm not cool. This shade also looks deeper in the pan than in the swatches. It is a very smooth shadow in satin finish.

Champagne – Champagne is a cool toned brown with some sheen to it. It also has satin finish.

Forest – Forest is a muted shade of medium tone army green. The satin finish makes it beautiful. The pigmentation is okay. It looks deeper in the pan.

Burning Clouds – True red with some golden shimmers. It is beautiful to look at. This is also one of the pressed glitters in the palette.

Memories – Memories is a light biscuit brown shade in matte finish. It is one of the lighter shades in the palette. Great as base color.

Tipsy – Tipsy is a pretty peachy pink with cooler undertone. It has satin finish, with great pigments.

Blue Rose – Blue rose is a lovely true blue with purple undertone. This one is also satin finish with some sheen to it.

Lullaby – Lullaby is a medium tone blueish green. It has matte finish. This one feels powdery but blends well during application.

Stars Twinkle – It is a light blue pressed glitters that sparkle beautifully.

Moonlight – Moonlight is a white shade with hints of pink. This shadow has matte finish with lovely pigmentation.

Wheat Field – Wheat field is a pretty champagne shade in satin finish.

Mystic Night – Mystic night is a pretty plummy purple in satin matte finish. The pigmentation is just gorgeous and applies beautifully.

Dew – Dew, as the name suggests is a light aqua blue shadow in satin finish. It is also very soft and smooth in texture.

Pink Dream – Pink dream is a pretty cool toned glitter with silver sparkles. It is another gorgeous one if you are a fan of pink.

Overall, the new Afflano De’ Lanci Nocturne eyeshadow palette is a beautiful palette. The shadows are soft and smooth, especially the satin ones. With this wide shade selection you can create a magnitude of looks. I highly recommend you try this. If you love eyeshadow palettes, I suggest you at least try one palette by this brand. They have a wide range of palettes to choose from. Besides these are very affordable and easily available on Amazon.
