Hello my lovely friends! Today I am here with my first Liebster Award Post. I was nominated for this award by Marie from backstorybeauty.com. First of all a big, big thank you to Marie for considering me for this award. Thanks again! Do visit Marie’s Blog as she mostly writes about luxury beauty – as in seriously luxurious makeup and skincare with amazing pictures. Her blog is so dreamy and full of beautiful desirable products. In short I would say she is The Luxury Beauty Queen.
Liebster is a German word which means dearest, lovely, cute, sweetheart and all the nicest adjectives. I feel to be honored doing this post. Well! I was nominated for this award in March and I delayed writing this post, as I realized I was close to my 100th post. I thought let my 100th post be my Liebster Award post. Hehe!
The Liebster Award Rules :
Thank the person who nominated you and put a link to their blog.
Answer 11 questions that the blogger gives you.
Give 11 random facts about yourself.
Nominate 11 other blogs and notify them through social media or by commenting on their blogs.
Give them 11 questions to answer.
My Answers to Marie’s Questions :
Q. Would you still be sane if you had to write blog posts using only your telephone for a week?
A. No! I can never write a blog post using only my phone as I will not be able to add photos to my post, because I am that dumb to use all the features of a cell phone. haha! Besides typing on mobile will make my vision blurred.
Q. If you had to go to the top of a hill and re-enact the opening scene from The Sound Of Music where Julie Andrews is singing the theme song. What song would you sing instead?
A. I grew up in India mostly watching Bollywood movies and songs. I was not familiar with the song you mentioned. However I saw the song on YouTube and would probably go with an Indian movie song –Yeh kaun Chitrakaar Hai from an old 1967 classic movie Boond Jo Ban Gayi Moti. I was not even born at that time but I think this is what I would like to sing, because the actor here is describing the beauty of nature in this song, similar to Julie Andrews. 🙂
Q. If you had to do a blogger residency in a different country for three months, what country would you choose and why?
A. Hmm! A difficult one. I think it should be UK because in my one year of blogging I have interacted with so many bloggers who are based in UK and around. During this three months time I would get a chance to meet them all in person as well as meet some new bloggers. 🙂
Q. Have you ever seriously considered not continuing with blogging?
A. No! Never!
Q. Is there a publication, either online or print that you’ve always wanted to write for?
A. No! Not yet! I am very new to writing and have a long way to go before I even dream about this.
Q. Have you ever had a blogging low point and how did you bounce back from it?
A. I don’t think I have ever reached a low point yet. But sometimes I do feel the lack of motivation. That time I just leave everything aside for sometime. (Sometime because I can’t stop thinking about my blog.) And then when I see so many likes and comments on my social media as well as my blog, I get that boost of energy. I feel so many of my friends are waiting for me and this brings me back in action. 🙂
Q. When you write for your blog, do you ever hold back aspects of your opinion or yourself?
A. No! I have never had to, because I mostly feature and write about products that I really love. If I don’t like anything I don’t write about it on my blog.
Q. Would you say without hesitation, that blogging is one of your best undertakings of your life thus far?
A. YES! ABSOLUTELY! YES!!! I regret not doing it earlier.
Q. You’re in a restaurant and you’re given the wrong order but the kitchen is about to close. As long as you were not allergic to anything in the wrong order you were given, what would you do?
A. I am vegetarian and don’t eat eggs, fish, meat etc. So if the wrong order is vegetarian I will eat it. If it contains something non-vegetarian, I will not be able to eat but, will not mind paying and leaving the restaurant.
Q. If you could be the tour manager for a famous singer/writer, who would it be?
A. Enrique Iglesias. 🙂
Q. Earth is no longer habitable and you have to choose a different planet on which to live, which one would you choose?
A. Well! It has to be Mars. Because there is so much work and research going on that in the coming years scientists will be able to find ways and means to live there. And my husband wants to go to Mars. 🙂

The blogs that I have nominated are some of my favorite blogs that I visit on a regular basis. These are more experienced and bigger blogs, just a mention of them brings lot of happiness to me. All of them have been a big support for me and this is my way of thanking them all. I did not prepare new questions as I know I will come up with some silly ones, so I am forwarding the same questions that Marie asked me and would love to read the answers of my other blogger friends.
As always, I loved doing my first Liebster Award post and want to thank Marie for giving me this opportunity. I have done similar post like the Sunshine Blogger Award, The Versatile Blogger Award if you like to check those as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to read.
