Hi! Today, I have Makeup by Mario master metallics eyeshadow palette to talk about. It is a 12 pan palette with all shimmer eyeshadows. In Makeup by Mario Eye Collection they have another palette that is all matte. But I wanted to try the Master Metallics, because the colors in the palette are so beautiful. Besides I love shimmery metallic shades.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallics Eyeshadow Palette is a universal eyeshadow palette with 12 creamy metallic shadows. It is more of a makeup artist friendly palette. But the color story is just beautiful.
Product Description
Light texture with a beautiful, metallic finish. Chrome-packed shadows deliver natural to dramatic effects. Gorgeous pearl pigments offer luxe, high-impact shine. Creamy formula glides and melts onto the lids.
The Packaging
Makeup by Mario master metallics eyeshadow palette comes in a very minimal and sleek black cardboard outer packaging. The actual palette inside is glossy white compact, that snaps shut, due to magnetic closure. It is simple and practical and feels expensive. However it reminds me of my NARS Wanted palette. The overall look is very similar to that of Nars. I like the white compact, with all the shadows sitting inside. It also has a mirror inside.
The color story of this palette is truly amazing. All the shades in this palette are so versatile and unique. I love the beautiful shade range from pinks, nudes, greens, teals, blues and browns. It is such a universal color range that targets universal audience. I am happy to have a colorful eyeshadow palette that is not too bright and vibrant but has all the shimmers and metallics.
The Formula
The formula of Makeup by Mario Master Metallics eyeshadow palette is super soft, smooth and extremely creamy. The texture is buttery smooth. These shadows feel like they melt when touched. Even the pigmentation is beautiful. You can never go wrong with the colors. The shadows are so soft and creamy that I most of the time use my fingers to apply them. It works best for me. When using a flat brush they are extremely pigmented and get the foiled look even when applied dry. The shadows blend easily.
The Shades
Makeup by Mario Master Metallic #1 – The first shade in the first row of the palette is a beautiful warm tone gold. The shade is so warm that it looks almost light orange with lots of gold sparkles. The pigmentation is lovely however, there will be some fallout with this shadow. Using your finger or damp brush will be the best.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallic #2 – It is a deep reddish coppery shade with tons of pink sparkles. This shadow feels more creamy and emollient to touch. I almost created a dent. Beautiful shade with nice pigmentation.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallic #3 – The third shade in the top row is a medium brown with some warmth. It has a pearl finish with great pigments. This also feels creamy, soft and smooth.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallic #4 – It is a deeper teal blue in sparkly finish. The texture is again soft and smooth. It gives that full on opaque foiled look with a damp brush.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallics #5 – A pretty champagne shade with some warm peachy undertones. It has a metallic sheen. Another one with soft emollient consistency.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallics #6 – This is warm golden shade with hints of olive green. It almost looks like olive green with lots of gold shimmers.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallics #7 – A bright orangey copper shade in metallic finish.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallics #8 – A pretty light golden shade in metallic finish. This shade is quite bright and shiny. However, it is sheer but buildable. Using a damp brush gave full opaque look.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallics #9 – The first shade in the last row is a pretty warm toned berry red with with pink and gold sparkles. The texture of this one is also very creamy, but applies well without getting messy.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallics #10 – A warm bronzy shade which almost looks like orangey copper. This also has a metallic sheen with soft creamy formula.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallics #11 – It is a deeper berry toned red with subtle copper like warmth to it. This shadow felt dense and firmly pressed in the palette. It looks deeper in the palette than in the swatches.
Makeup by Mario Master Metallics #12 – The last shadow in the bottom row and the palette is deep dark grey with silver and blue shimmers. It has a metallic sheen to it.
Overall, I am glad I got this palette. The quality is just amazing right from the super soft formula, pigmentation, application and the lasting power. In my opinion this palette works best when applied using my fingers rather than brush. We get the best out of these shades. However, using a damp brush will give full opacity to each and every shade. The lasting power of these shadows is up to 7-8 hours. Some shades are more metallic and shift beautifully when light hits. This is such a wonderful palette to have in your collection. If you are fan of shimmery metallic shadows you will love this palette. I highly recommend, it’s a beauty. Have you tried this brand? Which is your favorite eyeshadow palette?
Until next time stay safe and beautiful! 🙂
