Hi! L’Oréal Infallible 24hr Fresh Wear Foundation in a Powder, went viral on TikTok when it was released. Obviously, I had to try. However, I am a huge fan of this brand and have loved the Infallible pro matte powder foundation for many years. I have used up several compacts over time. So when the L’Oréal Infallible 24hr Fresh Wear Foundation in a Powder was released, I was very curious to try it. Besides, the pro matte version is not to be seen anywhere. When I find it, I am definitely going to stock up. But first let me share my experience about this new powder foundation.

There is one thing though, new launches from brands usually reach Asia after the trend has died. I got this powder foundation from Amazon when I visited the US however, the shade was a bit darker for my facial skin tone. So I had to wait for my next visit but to my surprise I finally saw this compact on Lazada Philippines and I bought another shade.

Application

I apply the L’Oréal Infallible 24hr Fresh Wear Foundation in a Powder using the makeup sponge that comes with the compact. I apply this foundation on my bare skin and sometimes after my primer by swiping the foundation all over my face and then I use my kabuki brush to blend it. However, the sponge is also good enough to blend the foundation seamlessly into the skin. But I love my dense kabuki brush.

I love that the formula is very soft and looks natural. Immediately after application my skin looked flawless. It covered my redness and a few dark spots on my cheeks. I am totally amazed at how flawless my skin looks, it’s unreal. It was as if I have applied a liquid foundation. Even though the coverage is medium to full, it does not look cakey. It also covered my pores. It looks like those smooth filters on Instagram.

The best part is that it does not feel heavy or too much. I actually don’t like the heaviness of a matte foundation. I always go for lighter foundations or BB/CC creams and layer it with powder foundation. This foundation is like two in one. I love the matte finish because I have super oily skin and also love the coverage. I am very impressed. It lasts all day, I don’t need to do touch ups. It did not fade, or make my skin look oily.

Overall, I love this powder foundation and am happy that L’Oréal has come up with such an amazing product at an affordable price. I highly recommend this powder foundation especially if you have oily skin and love natural looking matte finish. If you are like me who struggles with oiliness at the end of the day, this is a great foundation to try. I like the coverage it gives, stays matte, lasts all day, is water-proof and sweat-proof. It is also easy to touch up if need be. Besides, it covered the darkness around my eyes pretty well and made it look natural, which I prefer. I’d say try it, you will love it.
