Lisa Eldridge Lipsticks – Summer Pink Collection

Yay! I am here with Lisa Eldridge lipsticks summer pink collection. Can you believe? Lisa Eldridge, one of the top iconic makeup artist who has painted the faces of celebrities and top models, launched her lipstick collection last year in December. And yes! I missed getting her True Velvet Lipsticks. 🙁

My love for lipsticks is ancient. Like it continues from my previous life. I love admiring, wearing and collecting lipsticks. But Lisa Eldridge made me all starry eyes (emoji) with her lipstick collection. She has taken care of every detail. Her lipsticks are the epitome of elegance and perfection, just like her. I truly-truly admire her and love watching her makeup videos on her YouTube channel and learned a lot. Since I missed her Red Velvet lipsticks I was ready, excited and eagerly waiting for the next launch.

I was very happy to see the Pinks. This collection was called “Summer Pinks” and consists four shades of pink in two different formulas. I purchased two shades of pink each from both the formulas. I got them delivered to my Seattle home as I was not sure about how the shipping and mailing in Philippines works. At least, I was sure my lipsticks will reach US safely. 😀

These lipsticks arrived in a white card board box with Lisa Eldridge insignia on it. Opening the box felt luxurious. The lipsticks were safely packed in a cute little pouch. Since I purchased two lipsticks the aqua green colored lenin pouch was free.

This aqua green pouch was priced 18 Pounds on the website and was free with two or more lipsticks. I loved the size and the cuteness of this pouch. The material is luxurious/jute like with gold stitching details. I love Lisa’s monogram that is embroidered on it. There is also a soft and satin material lining inside with a nice and smooth zipper. The size is perfect to carry your daily makeup essentials.

The Lisa Eldridge lipstick packaging is truly beautiful and luxurious to hold. It also has a strong magnetic closure to it. The lipstick case is smooth and solid and will not get smudged with fingerprints. The satin matte finish and the muted golden color is just beautiful. I have a thing for gold packaging, but this is beyond. I love it!

The Lisa Eldridge summer pinks lipsticks, as I mentioned earlier are available in four shades and two finishes. Luxuriously Lucent Lip colour and Insanely Saturated Lip Colour and these are also cruelty free.

Luxuriously Lucent Lip Colour is a creamy formula. It is very comfortable and hydrating on the lips. The two shades in this formula are Go Lightly and Love of My Life. I purchased Love of My Life.

Love Of My Life – It is a classic true rosy pink. But it is also bright and vibrant. It is a very romantic and elegant shade. Even though it is bright and vibrant, it is a wearable color. The finish is semi-sheer. But applying two coats gives full opacity. I am really impressed with the pigmentation of the semi-sheer lipstick. The formula and the shades are very flattering for all skin tones. Who can do this better than Lisa herself.

The lasting power of Love of my life is around 4 to 5 hours without eating or drinking anything. Being a creamy formula we need to re-apply after meals. However, it leaves a faint stain on the lips. It feels like a moisturizing lip balm which is very creamy, hydrating and also super pigmented. It looks glossy when applied and makes your lips look fuller. We can wear it as a stain or full on lip color.

Insanely Saturated Lip Colour – The Insanely Saturated Lip Colour is a full coverage semi-matte finish. The shades included in this formula are Rainbow Spill and Skyscraper Rose. I wanted to get both but I got Skyscraper Rose.

Skyscraper Rose – It is a vibrant raspberry pink. A bold fuschia kinda color which feels vintage yet modern at the same time. It is more brighter than it looks in the bullet. The most intense color which is very bold and impactful. It will enter the room before you do. You know what I mean. It is a shade a lipstick lover will want to own and wear. I believe that wearing a lipstick brightens our face. But wearing this shade will just brighten your complexion to another level. However, you will need to apply this with more precision. This is a very long wearing lipstick. More than 6 hours while eating and drinking. It does not require touch ups. This is also the most hydrating matte formula I have ever tried.

Overall, the Lisa Eldridge Lipsticks are the epitome of perfection. Very carefully crafted and curated. You will need no makeup just wear these lipstick, put on glasses and you are ready to conquer the world. My love for lipsticks continues and I really-really hope that Lisa re-launches her Red Velvet Lipsticks just one more time. I just need Velvet Jazz. And now I am a proud owner of Velvet Jazz too. 🙂
