Issy Monochromatic Color Set Review & Swatches

Hi! I did an impulse purchase of Issy Monochromatic color set at SM Department store. The display was compelling, besides there was a promotion going on. It is always interesting to try new products and brands. I was also unaware about this brand. So I picked one set in shade berry. Below is my mini review about this set.

Issy Monochromatic Color Set

There are total of six Issy monochromatic color sets available, namely set in pink, peach, nude, brown, red and berry. I have the berry set. This set includes three makeup products. Hydragloss, Creme Cheek Blush and Lip Bullet True Matte lipstick in berry shade. All these are also available separately, in a range of shades.

Issy Hydragloss Hydrating Lip Treatment in shade Knockout – It’s an intensely nourishing lip oil in a glossy finish. The formula is enriched with shea butter and Vitamin E to condition the lips. This lip treatment hydrates and repairs while adding color and glossy shine to the lips. It also noticeably plumps, protects and improves the condition of the lips. Love the lightweight feel.

Issy Creme Cheek Blush in shade Karma – A beautiful rich berry shade. Enriched with skincare ingredients like camellia seed oil and meadowfoam seed oil that provide antioxidant benefits while also helps to keep the skin hydrated. The creme formula is very creamy and blends easily.

Issy Lip Bullet True Matte in shade Opus – A medium berry shade with a hint of red in matte finish. The formula feels creamy smooth with intense pigmentation. These lipsticks are available in matte, satin and velvet finishes. Use it as it is bright and bold or as a stain by just dabbing and blending with your finger tips.

My Thoughts

Overall, I love this Issy Monochromatic color set. Sometimes people struggle with shade selection and these kind of sets come in handy. You can get the shade you like. To get that monochromatic look you can dab the blush on your cheeks and eyelids. Glide the lipstick on the lips and use the hydragloss to get that glamorous looking shiny lip look.
