Ever Bilena Luxe Lipstick Diva Review and Swatch

Hi! Wishing you all a very happy and prosperous new year. Today I have Ever Bilena Luxe Lipstick to review. Since this is my first post in this new year, I thought why not start with my favorite beauty product – lipsticks. Lipsticks are a temptation for me and I most of the time give in :-). Today I have a local brand to talk about. Ever Bilena Luxe lipsticks that are available here in Philippines.

Ever Bilena is a local brand in Philippines. I think it is  probably also the most affordable brand here. This brand is easily available at the drugstores and the super markets. They have quiet a good range of makeup products, that are available at super low price.  In the lipsticks category there are many finishes available as well. Ever Bilena is so affordable that the small counters are ignored most of the time. I have been in Philippines for the past two years now and because of the stranded small counters even I never cared to take a look at the products.

One day during my grocery shopping I stopped by the Ever Bilena Counter only because of the red packaging and checked the lipstick testers. The shades looked pretty so I picked a few shades from the Luxe and Matte line that I would wear. In the Luxe line I got the shade Diva. However there are other pretty shades to choose as well.

Product Description on the packaging – Drench your lips with luxurious colors Ever Bilena Luxe Lipstick. Its semi-satin finish contains Vitamin E that is essential for achieving healthy-looking lips. This lipstick symbolizes edgy style and ultimate feminine strength.

The packaging of the Ever Bilena Luxe Lipstick is actually luxe. It comes packaged in an eye-catching red card board box with its name at the top and everything about the lipstick printed in golden. It’s pretty and attractive for such a low priced lipstick. Actually the packaging resembles the packaging of the  L’Oreal lipsticks that are available in Asia. Inside the lipstick is the same red plastic tube with the brand insignia in golden and an indicator with the shade of the lipstick. It’s beautiful, however when we hold the lipstick it feels light and fragile that if we press it a little hard or drop it and it might crack. Over all, the appearance is absolutely stunning. There is a golden sticker with the name of the lipstick at the bottom.

The formula of the Ever Bilena Luxe lipstick is very creamy and glides on smoothly on the lips. It has a satin finish with some sheen to it. In addition these lipsticks contains Vitamin E which makes it very moisturizing and comfortable on the lips. It feels like a high end lipstick. The pigmentation is great in  just one swipe. It applies evenly without getting patchy. The lasting power of this lipstick is around 4-5 hours and surprisingly fades well. This lipstick does not stain the lips. This lipstick is not transfer proof and can be wiped off easily with a tissue. 🙂 It has a sweet fruity smell to it which is not bad. Sometimes the low priced lipsticks have the chemically smell which I don’t like.

Diva – Diva is a beautiful brown shade with a hint of red which makes it less chocolate-y. I love this shade and will look gorgeous across all complexions. Sometimes I just dab it lightly to get that stained look.

Overall, I am really impressed by the quality as well as the packaging of this lipstick. I highly recommend it if you have not tried because these are that good. The most important thing about this lipstick is that it is very affordable and everyone can have it.  Now I am intrigued about the other products by the brand. These lipsticks can be purchased easily at the drugstores and supermarkets.
