Hi! Today is about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Hand Cream. Soft, smooth and silky hands are a sign of femininity. It is always said that by looking at a woman’s hands, you can guess her age. Since our hands age faster, taking care of our hands should be a very important part of our beauty regime. Besides our hands do so much for us, in return we should always take care of them. Every single lady wants to look as young as possible by using all sorts of lotions and serums. I have always been careless about my hands, maybe because my hands are not dry or flaky or have any problems.
I have never purchased a “hand cream” ever. Most of the time I use moisturizers, body lotions and serums on my face and body and the remaining I just massage it on to my hands and done. Actually the problem is that I don’t like the greasy, oily feeling on my hands. I just like clean dry hands.
But today I want to talk about a hand cream. Yay! You will think “look who is talking” a person who never uses a hand cream is reviewing one 🙂 .Yes! I want to talk about a hand cream because it has changed my perception about hand creams. This cream is none other than the really famous one or maybe we could call it the iconic product by the brand Elizabeth Arden.
I heard some great things about the famous Eight Hour Cream and wanted to try it. So while browsing at the airport I purchased it. After a few days I opened the package and realized that I had got the wrong Eight Hour Cream (at that time I had no idea about the various versions of the Eight Hour Cream). It was actually the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment and not the regular moisturizer. (The packaging and everything was similar hence the mistake) I was a little annoyed with myself for this carelessness and felt I wasted my money since I don’t formally use a hand cream. For a long time it was lying on my vanity unopened. But then I thought things happen and I finally decided to use it and I opened the seal…
Product Description : This fast absorbing, non-greasy cream moisturizes for up to eight hours to smooth rough, weather-exposed skin, reverse signs of dryness and leave your hands soft once more.
The packaging of the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment is a soft squeeze tube with a flipflop cap. The pattern of numerical 8 in different sizes on the tube is nice and makes it look high-end. I like the matte feel of the tube.
The consistency of the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment is incredibly thick and rich but not greasy. I don’t know how it is done but it does not feel oily or greasy whatsoever. When massaged on the hands it does not melt into that creamy oily feeling. It is still thick and dry and it absorbs quickly and disappears instantly, as if nothing is on your hands. This is what I like about this cream. Later my hands feel moisturized and smooth as it the wrinkles are less visible. It looks like there is some filter on my hands which is amazing.
The only thing with this cream is the smell. It smells like some medicine or maybe a bit like dry ginger, I am not sure. It is faint and does not last a long time. I use this cream only at night before going to bed and when I wake up in the morning my hands feel smooth and moisturized.
Overall, I believe this is a great hand cream and very little is required. So it is going to last a long time. The best thing about the Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment is that it is light weight and feels like nothing is applied. If you are like me who doesn’t like the greasy moist hands, this is the best cream for you, not that I have tried many hand creams, but this one is great.
If you have serious dry hands problem you may have to use this cream a few times in the day. Some people prefer nice smelling hand creams then you may not like it. I am glad that I got to try the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment. I am loving it and will keep using it as now my hands are softer and look prettier than before. And highly recommend trying this hand cream. Until next time take care! 🙂 Which is your favorite hand cream?

Sounds like a very good hand cream for dry hands. If its going to provide moisturization for 8 hours, I am definitely going to try it…
